Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Ellen is a beautiful Lynx Point Siamese, estimated to be around 1.5 years old.  Not familiar with this breed mix of cats? You can learn more here: https://www.catster.com/breeds/lynx-point-siamese/   Ellen is one of many local cats that joined rescue just before Christmastime.  She is social, friendly and outgoing with other cats and will be most comfortable living in a quiet, cat savvy home with feline companions.  Ellen enjoys playing with enrichment toys, such as cardboard scratchers or running around chasing and batting fuzzy kitty toys. She does very well living with other cats, and we think she would enjoy taking her friend Ryker or Sparkle with her to her new home.  Ellen is not a big fan of being picked up, but she will gladly stop her playing for some pets and affection. She will be best suited to a home with older or cat-savvy children for this reason.  She is happiest curled up in her cat bed with another feline companion, and we believe she will make a wonderful addition in a new home!   Ellen has not met dogs, but because of her timid nature we think she may prefer to not live with them. Ellen's adoption fee is $100 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccinations and FeLV/FIV testing.  Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, we look for adopters who have a history of having kept their pets altered and kept current on vaccinations and preventatives.  If you would like to meet Ellen, please submit an adoption application for consideration at Adopthope.orgVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 4, 2024, 6:20 pm

Story
Hi, I'm BB (short for Bagel Boy) and I am a handsome Siamese with stunning sapphire eyes and a heart full of curiosity! I joined the APL family when me and my more than 20 other siblings needed a new home. You see, our caregiver was diagnosed with a terminal illness and she needed to know we were all going to be safe when she wasn't around anymore. When I first arrived, I was a bit skittish and kept my distance, but it didn't take me long to warm up. Now, I follow my foster family from room to room-they call me "velcro kitty because I always want to be where the action is! I'm playful and love a good game of chase with my favorite feather toy. I have the cutest "wiggle butt before I pounce, and my meow is quiet and sweet, almost like a gentle conversation. I'm still warming up to the idea of being a lap cat, but I've already started to cozy up on the bed, so I may surprise you! I share my life with my best buddy, Agatha. We're the perfect duo-we watch out for each other, play together, and enjoy cuddling up when it's time to rest. I'd love a calm, peaceful home where we can stay together, play, and have some quiet time to relax. If you're looking for a gentle, social companion (or two!), we'd love to meet you! BB is litter trained, has been vaccinated, neutered, dewormed, tested negative for FELV/FIV, and microchipped. Applications for this dynamic duo can be submitted at: https://www.aplanimalrescue.org/cats
