Story
13-year-old Jasmine came into our care along with her daughter, Amelia, after their human passed away from cancer. Jasmine is a very calm kitty who loves nothing more than to take long naps on her favorite cat bed. She understandably takes a bit of time to warm up, but once she trusts you she will purr and head butt you for pets. She is a sweetheart who is just looking for someone to spend her golden years with. She had a vet visit this past month which included blood work and she has no health concerns at this time. Jasmine is front declawed, so her adopter would need to be mindful as sometimes that can cause increased risk of arthritis. Jasmine is also FIV+. This means she can have a weaker immune system and therefore should be kept indoors so she is not exposed to illnesses. FIV is not spread to other cats through casual contact, and Jasmine has lived alongside other kitties for many years who have remained FIV-. Jasmine would do best in a calm household. She comes spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $75. Please email liberationcathouse@gmail.com for more info!

Story
Bella was given to my husband and I 2 years ago. The couple moved in together with additional cats and Bella was hiding being picked on. We took her in. Bella is approximately 7 yrs old sealpoint Siamese. She is very sweet natured, friendly, and a lap cat. She’s not a talkative. She sleeps during the day a lot and is more active at night. She likes to sleep at foot of our bed. She enjoys playtime with a laser light. Eats dry food and can be a beggar. Make sure to not leave a cup of coffee with cream out because she will turn it over to drink it. This year my husband and I have fallen into financial problems and need to downsize including some of our pets. We are seniors and I’m at a time in my life I’m not enjoying taking care of pets as much as before. My husband needs back surgery soon and I don’t want anymore stress . I’d like Bella gone asap. She comes with everything except her automatic cat box that I paid $249 for 2 yrs ago. If interested I could sell reasonably.

Story
This is Jubilee. She is an Apple Head Siamese and is 11 years old. She is the oldest of our three cats and is an absolute sweet heart. She is very sweet and gentle and loves people and human interaction. She does not require much care at all. She mostly sleeps during the day and likes to lay next to us at night and falls asleep with us. She absolutely loves Boars Head deli turkey and her dry kibble. She has no health issues and is very spunky and playful. She does best when she is the only animal. We have two other by cats and they like to chase her a lot. She does fine with that but prefers to be with just people. She would be a great cat and we love her very much. Our oldest cat is having some health issues and our schedule and taking care of him have made it difficult to care for our other cats. We are sad to rehome her, but we also know she could have a much better life somewhere else and with other pet parents.

Story
Meet Rocket! Him and his sister Mantis are FULL of teenage goofiness. These siblings are a bundle of joy who love playing together all day long. When they eventually get tired, they seek the warmth of a human lap for some well-deserved cuddle time. One of the most adorable sights is Mantis making biscuits in her bed. These siblings came to the rescue a few months ago, initially appearing fragile, but with lots of love and care, they've made an incredible recovery. Now, they are ready to find a forever home where they can shower their new family with love and affection. As they are deeply bonded and have never been apart, they must be adopted together. Despite being FELV+ (Feline Leukemia Virus positive), these siblings don't let it slow them down. FELV weakens a cat's immune system, but it's not transmitted to humans or other non-feline pets. So, they are perfect for a household looking to adopt them exclusively or one that already has non-feline occupants. Of course, adopting an FELV+ cat requires an open and honest discussion with your veterinarian. They can provide personalized advice based on the cat's health and your household's dynamics. Being more prone to infections and illnesses, you should be prepared for potential health challenges and stay vigilant in monitoring their well-being. If you are looking for a delightful pair to brighten your home, these lovable FELV+ siblings are the purrfect addition to your family! ##1788079##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.TOPAZ is a sweet Siamese boy who embodies all the traits that make cats such wonderful companions. Topaz is a friendly soul, who is always ready to greet you with a gentle purr. Topaz loves nothing more than to cuddle up on your chest, his purrs lulling you into a state of relaxation. He adores cheek rubs; a simple pleasure that forms a bond between human and cat. Topaz is more than just a cat; he's a companion, a source of joy and a friend. He is good with other cats and is okay around calm dogs.  We believe he would be best around older, respectful children.  He is FIV+ which is no big deal.  He can be around other cats with no issues and live just as long.  See our page on FIV for more info:  https://spaythestrays.rescuegroups.org/info/display?PageID=19394The adoption fee is $300.  TEXT Anita:  407-460-2305 about adopting Topaz.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 17, 2024, 10:53 am
