Hello, I am Sky Buddy or Sky as my human friends call me at the shelter. I love to eat, I am sweet and polite, in fact, I greet everyone when they come to clean my cage and feed me. I love a head scratch or a nice belly rub. I have been at the shelter for a long time now. I have watched other cats come and go, finding their new homes while I remained behind. I hear the volunteers whisper among themselves every day: "Sky is the sweetest boy. He just needs someone who appreciates a senior cat." I still hope to find my forever home and I hope my age is not a problem for you. Juno is a beautiful kitty with a very calm personality. His favorite things are to spend all day, relaxing on the couch, dinner and then it's go time! He's active in the evenings and enjoys playing with his male cat friends. He loves getting human attention but is not clingy or demanding and even when he's playful, he's very subdued and never destructive. Even though Juno has many great qualities he also has a few issues that are not his fault. Juno was born with deformed eyes and had to have entropian surgery on both of his eyes. Juno lived with this condition for all of his life because he was living on the street. So even though he had surgery he does have some permanent damage and gets frequent eye infections that need to be treated with eye drops. Juno is also FIV+. FIV can only be transmitted by sex or deep bite wounds and he is doing neither of those things and can live with other cats after a proper introduction. Juno also has bad teeth due to his FIV+ status and needs frequent cleanings and may need extractions in the future. Please don't let all of his issues keep you from adopting this beautiful Siamese mix. He's very sweet and will make the right adopter very happy. Juno is also FIV+.
