Story
Cuddles is a Siamese about seven years old. He is great with people and gets along with some cats but not all which is why I am rehoming him. He probably should be the only cat in the household. He also lives with a dog.

Story
Hello, furiends! Who here is looking for a super sweet, friendly, affectionate, vocal, attention-seeking feline friend? Well, you found him! Chewy! (We can't even say his name without smiling!) Chewy is a darling 3 and a half years young Siamese crossbreed mix with a gorgeous lynx point coat pattern. Look at those blue eyes! And have you ever seen a cat so skilled at smizing for pictures? Tyra would be so proud. He is not shy around humans and loves...loves...and we mean LOVES attention. Chewy craves companionship, and because he is so vocal, you can be sure you will have some catastic conversations. Be sure to keep extra toys around for this active boy! We are unsure how Chewy would be in home with dogs or young children. He tolerates the company of other cats but can get annoyed if they are in his personal space so he would likely be best as an only cat. Thank you for your interest in adopting from Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue! If you see this post, we are still accepting applications for this cat(s)/kitten(s). Please refrain from emailing us regarding availability. All adoption fees include: ✔️ Spay/neuter surgery ✔️ Microchip ✔️ Rabies and distemper vaccinations ✔️ Proof of FIV/feline leukemia testing ✔️ Flea treatment & deworming ✔️ A veterinary exam 🚨 Please Note: Our shelter operates by appointment only and is not open to the public. Many of our cats and kittens are in foster homes. An approved adoption application is required before scheduling a meet-and-greet for the safety of our fosters and adopters. 🐾 Ready to apply? Handsome William is a four year chocolate/lynx/ragdoll Siamese. A perfect blend!! He has lived outside for some time with other cats and seems to like the cats in his foster home. He has come a very long way learning to trust. He now knows what a soft bed is like! He will play with wand toys and he enjoys being pet by his foster mom. He also enjoys sitting in the sun looking out the window at the birds and wildlife. This cat is waiting for it's Forever Home! Email adoptions@ctcatconnection.org with a question or better yet, complete an application for quickest consideration. (Application: https://www.ctcatconnection.org/adoption-application/). Please consider fostering a cat or dog by applying on our website.A cat's behavior in the shelter is usually not what it will be like in your home; if the cat is nervous, anxious, or agitated, please know that a shelter is a very stressful place for a cat.Kitten Policy: It is important to understand that the socialization of kittens with other animals as playmates is important for their development. Therefore, CT Cat Connection has a policy that kittens and teenagers up to 12 months of age are adopted in pairs unless there is another animal in the household as a playmate and companion.Due to demand, we cannot place cats or kittens on hold. Your visit to the shelter is to meet any cat or kitten available for adoption at the time of visit. If you or anyone you know is interested in helping the shelter, we are always looking for foster families of our cats and dogs, as well as in-person volunteers, to assist with animal care. Story
Meet Buster, a beautiful 3-year-old Siamese who has had a rough start. For the past 4 months, he was being fed outside, and as a result, he’s understandably quite scared and wary of people. Despite his fears, Buster is a sweet soul who just needs the right person to show him that he’s safe and loved.Buster will need a patient adopter or foster who is willing to work with him and give him the time he needs to adjust. With a calm, understanding environment and consistent care, we believe Buster can learn to trust again and eventually become a loving companion. If you’re someone who has experience with shy, fearful cats and can provide Buster with the space and patience he needs to feel secure, he could be the perfect fit for you. With time, Buster will flourish in a safe, loving home, and we can’t wait to see him become the confident, affectionate cat he’s meant to be. Come meet Buster and help him on his journey to finding his forever home! This cat is waiting for it's Forever Home! Story
Obie & Treefrog – A Purrfect Pair Obie has been at PARL for some time now—a shy, lonely boy who would cry overnight, longing for companionship. Treefrog came in as a single kitten, afraid and unsure of the world. We always knew Obie was interested in other cats, but he never found the right friend—until Treefrog. It was love at first sight! Since meeting, these two have brought out the best in each other. Treefrog, once quiet and hesitant to play, is now bright-eyed and full of kitten energy. Obie, our sweet tripawd, now chirps happily and lovingly grooms his best friend. They are completely bonded and must be adopted together. Both are still wary of people and will need patient adopters willing to let them settle at their own pace. They are looking for a calm, adult home without dogs (Obie is strictly a cat guy). A multi-cat home may work with slow introductions, but no matter what, these two will always have each other. If you're looking for a special duo who have found comfort and love in one another, Obie and Treefrog may be the perfect match for you! 💙🐾 If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an Adopter Profile at www.parl.org/adopt and come in to meet them!
