Story
Janice is a gorgeous adult female cat - about 8 years old. Her person passed away, leaving her and her brother homeless. Even though they have lived together in the past, they are not bonded and don't need to be adopted together.  Janice is extremely sweet and will chat with you when she's happy! She is spayed, chipped, litter box trained, tested felv/fiv negative.  She is being fostered at Berthoud Pet Supply.  Come meet her today at 115 Turner Ave in Berthoud! ##2345015##

Story
Name: Bjarni Breed: Siamese Mix Sex: Neutered Male Age: 11 years Weight: 11 lbs Good with dogs? Yes, Bjarni adores the big dog in his foster home and really must have a friendly dog sibling in his forever home. Good with cats? Yes, he is fine with other cats. Good with kids? He has not met kids but he is gentle and always wants to cuddle so he would probably love cat-savvy kids. Energy level: Low. He is missing one leg and is in his retirement years, and mainly wants to cuddle and lay next to you. However, he does enjoy playful bursts with wand toys! Medical needs: Bjarni is FIV+. FIV is a feline-only retrovirus that affects a cat’s immune system. An adopter should be aware that FIV can make a cat more vulnerable to other medical issues because their immune system is not as strong as an FIV negative cat. FIV is not transferable to humans or dogs and can only be transferred to other cats through a deep cat bite.. Animal Characteristics: Bjarni is a sweet, gentle, affectionate senior gentleman who loves people and purring! He is a super chill dude and nothing fazes him. He loves cuddling and will lay right next to you on the couch. He is fine with being kissed and hugged, as he deserves to be! He is an amazing cat who had to live outside for several years, with three legs and his eyes swollen shut without medical attention. He was extremely loving and grateful as soon as he was taken into loving foster care. Bjarni has beat the odds and is ready for a cushy forever home for his golden years! Please learn more about the adoption process and fill out an application at www.pawsco.org/adopt/adoption-process. You can also contact my friends at PawsCo at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org if you have questions. I look forward to meeting you!

Story
Alcatraz is Amazing! Super friendly, not afraid of strangers, LOVES attention, toys, and will roll for belly rubs! He will also snuggle next to you when he's done playing. Alcatraz is a large boy, (not fat), tall legs and long body. His markings are that of a Snowshoe Siamese and being Siamese, (or Siamese mix), he is quite smart, smarter than the average cat. Alcatraz needs a home where he can get the attention he requires and also a quieter home that is not stressful. He is a little bit 'dog like.'He is about 16 months and would get along fine with a dog, most likely.  He can be visited in south Fort Collins. You will fall in love! Children 12 and over.  Born November 2023.  foster: cp Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes.  These 'guardian kittens' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes.  These 'guardian cats' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for kittens (6 months & under)    $125 for cats (older than 6 months)    $75 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application  here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email cats@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time. PLEASE NOTE:  The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter.  Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets.  Here is some interesting info on breed identification:  https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.  We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting.  Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
