Story
Monk is a big, young, sweet fellow that loves attention, petting and food. He will snuggle up next to you and gaze lovingly up at you. He is also quite happy playing with his toys, sleeping on his cat tree and exploring around. Monk enjoys the outdoors and indoors, is litter box trained and does not spray. He has been living with 5 other cats at his foster home but prefers the company of humans he knows well. He may do well with a cat friendly dog or even children but sometimes other cats annoy him - he wants to be #1. Monk was originally assumed feral and was missing part of his tail when found. He soon became friends with his foster parents but is still very shy of new people and may need some adjustment time. He is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. His tail is still healing.

Best Match: Seeking an adopter with moderate cat experience Could join a quiet home with cat savvy teens Part of a bonded pair Needs a home without dogs Need to be indoor only Ollie takes daily medication for blood pressure Pip and Ollie are an adorable pair of bonded boys. While initially on the reserved side with new people, once you’ve befriended them, their sweet nature just shines through. As a bonded pair, Pip and Ollie share a deep connection. They sleep together other under the covers, and often groom each other. Both boys enjoy evening escapades, and Ollie even has a nightly routine where he inspects every room in the house, which is very cute. Despite being older cats, this duo can also be quite playful!  Ollie prefers playing with toy mice and balls he can chase, and is happy to entertain himself. As the more outgoing cat of this duo, he loves seeking out attention from his humans for chin scritches! He can still easily startle, so a calm home with a patient adopter will be ideal for him. Ollie also takes a heart medication pill. It’s very easy to administer — he adores munching his pill pocket treats! Pip is sweet and friendly — it just takes a little more time and patience for him to get comfortable with people. Once he feels at home, Pip will play by chasing after mice and leaping high in the air to bat at ribbon toys. He’ll keep you entertained with his acrobatics!  A great way to win this shy lad's  trust is by offering treats. Pip and Ollie  are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. These distinguished gentlemen are waiting patiently for the great love of their lives. Might that be you? Story
Acampo, CA (near Lodi): Hi, my name is Farah! I am a Siamese mix kitty with beautiful blue eyes, a dark face and creamy patches on my white coat. I’m very affectionate, love to be with my foster mom and adore petting time!  I LOVE play time! I am particularly good at sitting on my hind legs and catching the feather toy! I am also excellent at pouncing on my kitty mum Faye when she’s not expecting it. You can see us in our video together here:  https://youtu.be/3m7omlTDJ7I I was born in October 2020, am spayed, up to date on my vaccines, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped. I’d prefer to be an “only” pet in a quiet, adults-only home. I’m living in a private foster home so please text or call Karen at 209-329-2001 for more information. You can fill out an adoption application online at https://forms.gle/obNDXM5Q4SbNNDH67 and once you are approved, we can meet via video chat!   October 26, 2024, 8:18 pm

Story
Karma is a beautiful cat with a lot of energy. I adopted her as a kitten from Dirty Paws Animal Rescue. She was born in December 2022, so she's just about 2 years old. She loves to play. She will even try to catch the laser pointer when its on the ceiling - she can jump really high - not that high, but she keeps trying! She always uses the litter box. She's a chatty Siamese you can have conversations with, which is extremely cute. She's the kind of cat that will follow you from room to room - she wants to be close to her person all the time. When I first adopted her as a kitten, I was working from home, so we got to spend a lot of time together. She needs an owner who can spend more time with her, maybe a cat friend to play with would help also. Now that I'm working outside the home & traveling for work, she's very unhappy and has aggressive episodes towards me, which has been triggering my anxiety. She will be a wonderful pet for the right owner, but sadly, that's not me. Please help!

Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter,
Story
This little Siamese started hanging around in my front yard in October...very timid, shy. and scared. I started feeding her and she would only poke her nose out from under my house to eat.. Eventually she ca onto my front porch and we had established a nice routine.. She was being fed three times a day wet food, and dry food, xxxx@xxxx.x would sunbath in the yard and do her thing.. I was able to put flea med on her Vectra... she started having some skin issues ..lots of little scabs on her skin lots of scratching ..her coat became "patchy"..I am switching flea medication to an alternate one. I think she probably has worms as she eats so much but always seems so hungry. Have never seen any BM's Last week she went into heat.. and she no longer has a routine..Two different attempts to take her to a vet failed as she became utterly frantic when I tried to put her into my carrier. over all she has never bitten or scratched me always very sweet but very slippery and in constant motion..

Story
Hi! I'm Cadbury! I was rescued in Doha, Qatar . I was living in a colony where a kind human was feeding me and other kitties. She fell in love with me and knew she had to get me off the streets and into a safe home so she took me to a sanctuary where I thrived. When I went to the vet, they found out I'm FIV+. Even knowing how pawsome I am, my rescuers knew it would be difficult finding me a home in Qatar and they worried I might end up back on the streets if in the wrong human hands. So here I am! In the United States looking for my purrfect family. I'm a friendly, trusting, and loving kitty with the softest fur and sweetest smiles! I immediately greeted my foster humans, settled in, and began sharing lots of love with them. I was flopping and rolling around for belly pets in no time.    I love to sit and watch TV with my humans, action movies are the best! And when you have a blanket, I’ll be on your lap asking for pets. I'm a great snuggler and will give you loving head butts for attention. I'll even make some air biscuits when I'm in full snuggle-mode. Whether it’s morning coffee time, TV time, or afternoon worktime, I’ll usually be with you.   When I’m not sitting on your lap, you’ll probably find me at a window looking for birds and squirrels. Those really big crows are kind of scary but those little sparrows are very intriguing and always get my attention. Enjoying the fresh air through a screen by and open window is another one of my favorite pastimes. I just love the smell of the outdoors, so much that I’ll climb and squeeze into a small space next to a window just to catch the breeze.   Lap sitting, window watching, and playing are all so important that when going between activities, I’m always in a hurry.  I trot everywhere.  Trot, trot, trot… no walking for me.    I traveled across the world to find my forever home and am so excited to finally have a family to share my love. Whether your a family of adults or a family of adults and children, I'll make a great addition! You see more of me in my foster home here @returnoftheyeti and my vacation foster home here @floofypeets.foster. Concerned about me being FIV+? There's lots of informative reading material online to free you of any worries. I can live a long healthy life and safely with other cats, meow. Here's one website that offers some important information - Best Friends - FIV FAQs Please note: Cadbury has tested positive for FIV.Cadbury would do best as an only childIndoor onlyMore information & application [ts=1740470553&src=aap]

Meet Charro, a sweet and beautiful Abyssinian mix, a sweet senior about 10 years young, She is a love bug, a perfect lap cat who purrs, is affectionate and likes to curl up and sleep beside you all night. This kitty has kidney disease and requires a prescription diet, but don't let the diagnosis fool you as she's bright and happy with much love to share. As a senior cat she's a mellow, gentle companion. Charro thrives in a calm home where she can receive lots of affection. She prefers to be the only pet but will tolerate sharing the spotlight with a small, calm cat-friendly dog. Charro's adoption fee has been paid by a donor.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Claudia, a lovely tabby with a stunning coat who has had quite a remarkable journey. Rescued from an animal hoarding situation, she was initially skittish, going so far as to run away from a foster home. She spent time in a feral cat colony before deciding she preferred the comforts of indoor life which caused her to start trying to enter the home of a kind human. Now in the home of a patient foster, she's slowly coming out of her shell, though still startled by sudden movements or loud noises. We feel she would do best in an adult-only home or with gentle, older children. Claudie definitely needs a patient and loving adopter to help her continue coming out of her shell. She is food-motivated and loves to play, so these are great ways to win her over. Claudia is FIV+, which requires some special care, but it won't impact her overall quality of life. She must be kept indoors. To learn more about FIV, check out this article: https://www.humanesociety.org/news/fiv-positive-cats Are you ready to meet Claudia?
