Max Needs Compassionate, Seizure Experienced Owner Max is a year old, we believe CHIH Min Pin Mix, although Paperwork says Doxie Pom mix, weighing between 10 and 15 pounds who came to Tiny Paws as Owner Surrender. Immediately Foster witnessed severe seizures which Video is too painful to watch. Was he born this way, was he injured at Owner’s Home, we have no idea? We do know Max is a very loving pup and gets along fine with other Dogs but must not have over zealous companion. His gait is compromised although he gets around well. Concerned Winter weather will be challenging but Foster puppy pad trained him. Could be perfect Apartment dog but must be able to carry him if steps involved. Located in Thorpe, WI; Approved Application required and Fee negotiable due to Max’s needs to continue on Seizure Meds. Plz Contact Foster Mom Nikki Heck at (715) 316-1052 for more info. ROCKFORD IL - I can't believe Emma is still waiting for her forever home!! She's been waiting here ever since July! Poor little Emma lived in a nasty puppy mill in Missouri for 6 years where she was forced to have litter after litter until she no longer produced large litters. Since she was no longer profitable she was at risk to be destroyed. That's how puppy mills work. Remember that whenever you see puppies in a puppy store! Emma is now safe and ready to start living her best life. Emma is only 6 years old and weighs a svelte 11 pounds. She's been spayed and her teeth are pearly white from her dental. Emma is working hard learning to trust humans and she's come a long way. She's treat motivated which helps in training. She will come up and take a treat from your hand but prefers to scoot away with it and eat it in private. She's doing well with house training. She uses a pee pad and also uses the doggie door to go outside to do her business. Pepe is very shy and skittish, he will need lots of love and patience to help him feel safe and get his playful personality to blossom. Pepe gets along with dogs (with proper introductions), older kids, and cats, and loves playtime with his foster sibling. He is currently learning to walk on a leash and again he will need time and patience to truly feel comfortable enough to walk confidently, but we know he will do it with the right person and encouragement. Pepe is potty trained and finds comfort in his crate, though his favorite thing is to cuddle close to your face. He is a silly boy for sure! We do recommended you provide him with a dedicated space initially to help him settle in and feel secure as the adoption process can be overwhelming for these little guys. Pepe loves cuddles and yummy treats. He is a charming little guy, and he will make a wonderful addition to any loving home. To meet Pepe please complete an application through Tiny Paws Small Dog Rescue. Adoption fee of $650 required. He is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines.
