Story
Please contact Pet (information@pethelpersinc.org) for more information about this pet.   Gutherie! Oh where do we start with this little guy? He is more of a “You can look but can’t touch” kinda guy! If you are looking for a cuddler or lap dog Guthrie is probably not your guy! He might also be Gremlin. He kinda looks like someone fed him after midnight. “This land is my land, and this land is my land!” That is Gutherie’s motto. Gutherie thinks he is a big herding dog. He feels the needs to herd all the other dogs in the home to keep them in line. Especially at dinner time! Gutherie lets you pet him. On his terms! If you try to pick him up and hold him, he acts like a screaming goat who found out the store was out of his favorite feed. We think he was not handled much. He came from a hoarder with many others. On a good note he is not a biter! Except that one time. Gutherie does not want long walks on the beach or shopping trips to Target. He would rather fly around your house like a 5lb feral pigeon. Gutherie loves other dogs and does not mind cats. He is not a fan of kids. We do not actually know that. However, we do not think he is a fan of humans all together. Is he house trained? Who really knows at this point. He does go outside. You would need a fenced yard or preferably a cement wall like they put around castles. Maybe even a moat. Otherwise, he will be running around the neighborhood telling people they’re his b!”@$! Gutherie is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. He did test positive for Lymes, but is being treated for it. Story
Please contact Pet (information@pethelpersinc.org) for more information about this pet.   November is National Adopt A Senior Pet Month, what a perfect time to adopt and give this super cute girl a loving, forever home of her own. This is Honey, she's a Shih Tzu, is 14 years old, weighs 18 pounds and is as sweet as her name. She came to us after her Mom developed health issues and was unable to keep her. She's spayed, up to date on shots, microchipped, was given dewormer, has a Seresto Collar to keep those pesky fleas and ticks at bay and was negative for Heartworm and Lyme. Honey is house and leash trained, is well behaved so crating isn't necessary. Honey likes everyone she meets, she gets along with the other small dogs in her foster home but would be just as happy being the only furbaby and getting all the love and attention. She enjoys going on car rides, going on walks, cuddling with her people, playing with toys, taking naps and sleeping in bed with her foster mom and dad. Honey will be a great little companion for someone, if that's you, please click on the following link to fill out an application. https://www.pethelpersinc.org/adoption-application/   Honey is being fostered in Fairmont, WV.     Adoption Fees: PUPPIES (under 1 year) $250.00,   Includes spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, age appropriate vaccines, heartworm/lyme test (if applicable), two rounds of dewormer, one round of flea medicine and microchip.
