Story
Sky is a sweet loving little dog. She gets along with most dogs but has a big attitude when she first sees them. She is very active. She can be somewhat vocal.  She's not great with cats, though. We are still getting to know each other and we're teaching Sky some basic commands and we're working on crate training  Sky was surrendered at the shelter when her owner was moving.  Breed:  Chihuahua Gender: Female Approx. DOB 10/1/2022 Weight: currently 10 lbs. PLEASE NOTE:  we only adopt to residents of the DC metro area, which includes DC, Prince Georges and Montgomery Counties in MD, and Arlington, Fairfax, Prince William, and Loudoun Counties in VA. For more information about Pinkie, please get in touch with Kristin.calkins@lostdogrescue.org Pinkie is a sweet girl who has settled in well in her foster home. She's overcome a not so great past and is learning that dog beds are comfy, chicken is amazing, and humans aren't scary. She will do her business every time you take her outside and is hitting the potty pads with relative frequency inside. She lights up in a backyard sniffing and exploring the world. She's not leash trained but is comfortable being carried and put down to do her business, she'll take you where she needs to go! Pinkie gets along well with other dogs and would love a friend her size to learn from, but would also do well as an only pup. Her hope this Christmas is a forever home where there are blankets, toys, and scritches a plenty.
