Story
ADOPT ME ONLINE: https://ophrescue.org/dogs/13940Hi! My name is Waverly and I’m a Shih Tzu mixed breed dog, a 7 year young gal weighing a healthy 15 lbs. I'm retired from my past life as a breeder mama and ready to learn how to be a dog and get to know human love. Things to know about me:> I've got one blue and one brown eye (heterochromia) which is common in Shih Tzu dogs> Yes, I must have my tongue out in ever picture 😜😛👅> I am more of a lounger than an adventurer. Give me a comfy bed, couch, or lap and I am there! > But when my human gets home or returns from an extended period of time, I get very excited and love doing zoomies> I am crate trained (It's my safe space) and sleep like a rock during the night> I was weary of going outside but now enjoy short walks around the block. There is so much to sniff!> I working on potty training and doing really well considering where I came from. Sidewalks and driveways are good targets of opportunity. I'm a little skeptical of grass though. Maybe it's because grass tickles my bum?> I am excellent on leash, walking by your side, and once in a while make eye contact to make sure my walker and I are in sync. I can't wait to get to my forever home! Is that with you? Apply to adopt me today! This cuteness won’t be available for long!

Story
ADOPT ME ONLINE: https://ophrescue.org/dogs/13963Hi my name is Cleo and I'm one of the pups from the Ends with O litter. I'm thought to be a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix and am just 2 lbs at 6 weeks. Since my mommy is 14lbs I'll likely be up to 20 lbs when full grown.I'm a very sociable pup and Iove to get attention but I also like to wrestle and play with my brothers and sisters, too. I'm doing a good job learning to use the pee pads and should get the hang of it in no time.I'm fostered in the Shenandoah Valley but my foster mom will meet adopters to make sure I find a good home.I'm microchipped, current on my vaccines and monthly preventives and will be available to go home with an adopter as soon as November 12th.Please note that because this puppy is so young, it has only received 2 of the required 3 puppy distemper vaccines. This is very IMPORTANT because it means that the immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age. Until then, the puppy MUST stay out of public places where it could be exposed to the germs of other dogs. These no puppy zones include all pet stores, dog parks, and for apartment dwellers, areas used by other dogs. These requirements are strictly for the puppy’s medical safety and longevity.
