Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. The time has come for Minnie Mouse to find her forever home! She has overcome death, and made a miraculous recovery here in in rescue. She does have some lifelong medical conditions that will require ongoing medical care, a strict prescription food diet, medication, and may have some costly vet care in her lifetime. Any adopter should be sure they can financially take her on before applying! Minnie Mouse came to us lifeless, with no body fat, no fur, and little hope of survival, but this girl is a fighter and just celebrated her second birthday! She weighs 10 pounds and is the sweetest, happiest little Shorkie you will ever meet. Minnie Mouse is crate trained, leash trained, and loves car rides. She does use peepads and potties outside, but her EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency) does cause some extra pee to occur and she may have accidents if not on a consistent bathroom schedule. Minnie Mouse does take daily medication and eats prescription food that must be continued as her condition can become deadly if treatment isn't followed. She is super easy to care for, a great eater, and cooperates for her weekly baths too! We are open to a local to Lebanon PA foster to adopt home or a straight adoptive home for this little girl. We are always a support system for our adopters and can be available to assist with any questions or concerns throughout Minnie Mouse's life in a new home. She has come so far since February, and now it's time she finds a loving home to call her own..... To adopt Minnie Mouse, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. The $350 adoption donation ($250 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, microchip, bloodwork, spay, biopsies, specialist visits with additional diagnostics, dental, and all the love you can handle! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sadie Ann is a 5 year old, 13 pound adorable mixed breed that we are told is a Chorkie. She has the sweetest personality ever, the coat of a wire haired Terrier, and a little tuft on her head that can be spiked to a mohawk. She is healthy, playful, loves attention, but is also independent. Sadie is housetrained, crate trained, and great in a car. She just doesn't know how to walk on a leash yet, but with a little more work she can get there so a fenced yard is a must. Sadie loves other dogs to run and wrestle around with. She is healthy and fully recovered from her spay and dental so the next step is finding this unique looking girl her happily ever after! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Ruby Goose is a beautiful 7 year old 12 pound Shih Tzu looking for her perfect forever home. She has made great progress here in rescue, but did have an incident that caused her to lose an eye. Ruby is good with other level headed dogs, but unfortunately she didn't mesh with her foster sister and was the recipient of trauma. HOWEVER, she has no residual issues with dogs and lives happily in a large pack of small dogs in her foster home, but a potential home should know thei dog and if they aren't tolerant of others then Ruby won't be a good fit. She is very well trained with tons of commands, crate trained (and should continue using a crate to eat and sleep in a new home to ensure she keeps healthy boundaries), leash trained, and house trained on pee pads or to go outside. Ruby Goose loves adventures, car rides, toys, and playful furry siblings as long as they aren't cats, since she doesn't like the feline species. Ruby Goose is a great little girl, but can get out of hand if you don't set clear boundaries that she is a dog and a crate must be used as we say to ensure she lives a happy life with healthy attachments to her adult humans. This girl is all healed, healthy, and ready for a home of her own! To adopt Ruby Goose, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org.
