Meet Milton WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Hey all you fabulous folks out there, I'm here in search of a home, a family...one I can say is ALL mine!! I am so ready for Christmas, is Santa coming to grant my wish? Since you're reading this, maybe you could tell him I'd love that family to be with YOU!! I am around 8 years old and came from a hoarding situation of 96 dogs all in a small house, yes 96 dogs, where our living situation wasn't very good. I am so appreciative of all the little things that most dogs take for granted. A kind word, a gentle pet, a soft bed, some tasty treats!! I am so very loving, coming for some pets every chance I get and my favorites are ear scratches and belly rubs. I would probably do best in a quieter home where my person(s) work from home or are retired.! I do great with people once I get to know them but would probably do best in a home with just older kiddos. I do wonderfully with the other dogs in my foster home from big to smaller and also the resident kitty. I am crate trained but will need some continued work on housetraining. My chill easy going personality will make a great companion pup for your family. I'd even be great for a first time pet parent!! I get so excited to see you when you get home even if it was just to get the mail!! I don't really play too much with toys but I do love snuggling on a soft blanket! I will also be your lil shadow, following wherever you go...that lil heartbeat at your feet! If you would like a BFF to help you with your errand runs, a constant in your life to share in your joys and sorrows...oh my, I AM your boy!!!! Playful Teddy loves the ladies-and his favorite toys Chickie and Fuzzy. He plays fetch and even plays joyfully by himself. He obeys lots of commands : come/or clap your hands, sit, lie down, stay, leave it, wait (at the door or food bowl), then “OK” to avoid rushing out. He is a 4 year old beagle/chihuahua, so he loves hunting in the yard, is a great mouser, and has an adorable little high-pitched howl that always makes me laugh. He does zoomies. He lets you know that there is someone near your house, but can stop barking when you go to check them out and tell him it’s OK. He is afraid of men and it takes a long time to accept a man, which can be done by walking along with his lady owner. I got him a year ago, before I met a special man in my life. He does not warm up fully to my partner, and “protects me” from him, thus the reason to move him to an all female household. He will bite an unfamiliar man, and must be introduced with a muzzle on at first (repair man, for example).

Meet Winifred! This sweet but shy gal is an 8.5-year-old, 20lb Shih Tzu who is looking for a forever home where she can relax and come out of her shell! She is a low energy girl, preferring to spend her days relaxing nearby and taking in the world around her. Winifred was rescued from a puppy mill so she is slowly starting to learn that she is safe. She is unsure of people at first but doesn't seem to have a mean bone in her body despite her past. If you hold her and pet her she will slowly wag her tail. She is fostered with other dogs and does well with them. She is happy to rest in her crate and is still working on potty training. Winifred doesn't really know what dog toys and a dog bed are, but she would love to learn! Her favorite thing to do is spend time outside soaking up the sun or to take a nap in the grass. Winifred would love a kind, patient home that will give her a safe place to rest and be loved. If this could be you, then apply for Winifred today! Winifred is fostered in the Cincinnati area.
