Story
Where are the senior dog lovers?  Martine was surrendered by her owner because she could not take care of her due to her own health issues. She is a 12 years young Shih Tzu and still has a lot of love to give.  Martine has lived with other small dogs and does fine.  She loves being with her humans and follows them around.  She is sweet, friendly and easy going.  Martine enjoys being picked up and cuddling with her humans.  She is pee pad trained and has never used a crate.  She enjoys going for walks, but isn't a very active dog.  This little girl is just an absolute love, and she deserves to be spoiled by a forever family for the rest of her years.  Martine is already spayed and is up to date with vaccines.  Her adoption fee is $150 which goes towards vaccines and medical care up to adoption, microchip and costs associated with fostering.  ##2206219##

Story
Sweet Georgia May is a 2 year old pure bred Chihuahua. Sadly her loving parents have developed medical issues and are no longer able to care for her.  She is currently in Texas and will be arriving in Syracuse approximately around November 21.  Her family said she is a sweet girl, who lived with a Shepard who passed at 12 years old.  Georgia May can be shy, but warms up after a little while.  She doesn't like cats, and she tends to chase them.  Older children 10 and up would be best for Georgia May.  She is clingy and loves to cuddle up with her people.  She was mostly kept indoors and was trained to use puppy pads for potty.  They are working on getting her out more in hopes of getting her potty trained outdoors.  She will need leash training, as she isn't used to leashes and currently freezes on one.  Georgia May's adoption fee is $400 which goes towards her vetting, current vaccinations, medical care until adoption, microchip and fostering.  ##2219315##

Story
Say hello to adorable Lilly!  Lilly is believed to be a yorkie/shih tzu mix. She is just under 2 years old and weighs about 15 pounds.  Unfortunately, Lilly's owners could not provide her with what she needed and they wanted her to have a forever home that will take good care of her.  Lilly is dog social, and has had both large and small doggie friends. All she wants to do is play, so other dogs in the home need to be accepting of that and of her energy.  Lilly has a lot of energy and just loves to run and run and run.  She also has a high prey drive, so no kitty cats, and A PYSICALLY FENCED YARD IS REQUIRED.  Lilly is a lover!  She likes to be held, to give kisses, and to cuddle next to you when you're sitting.  She enjoys car rides and will jump right in once the door is open.  She also enjoys toys, playing tug of war, and looking out the front window of the house.  Lilly is completely potty trained.  Learning to walk on leash without pulling is a work in progress.  A perfect home for Lilly would be one where her people can allow her to run and play frequently.  Lilly's adoption fee is $425 which goes towards vaccines and medical care up to adoption, microchip and costs associated with fostering. ##2206206##
