Sadly, their world turned upside down when their beloved owner passed away, leaving these two sweet souls feeling lost without her. Buffy and Jack are as mellow and laid-back as can be. They love leisurely walks—strolling well on a leash—and then settling in for cozy naps together. These lifelong buddies have also lived peacefully with a cat, so a feline friend wouldn’t faze them one bit. While they may carry a few extra pounds, a little exercise and healthy meals will have them feeling their best in no time. Above all, Buffy and Jack’s greatest wish is to stay together. They bring comfort to one another, and now they’re hoping to find a new family who will cherish them both. If you’re looking for an easygoing, loving pair to fill your home with warmth and companionship, Buffy and Jack are ready to meet you. They’ve lost so much but still have so much love to give. Meet Harper. Harper is a special adoption. Harper has been in our rescue for 2.5 years. Why so long? Harper came from a hoarding case years ago and just still hasn't enjoyed people touching her. Is she the happiest dog you will meet? Yes she still loves life, loves other dogs and loves to lounge on the couch. Harper is looking for a home who will accept her and her fear of being touched and be ok with that. She is house broken and will use a potty pad. She really doesn't even need to go outside if you don't want her to. You can't walk her as she doesn't want you to touch her so fenced yard is required. She gets sedation to go to the vet. But she is loved and deserves love. We will waive her adoption fee for adopters willing to give Harper Lee a life.
