Story
Meet Newton, a sweet and gentle 16-year-old senior dog who is looking for a loving home to spend the rest of his days. Despite his age and health challenges, including blindness, deafness, incontinence, stage-2 kidney failure, and liver disease, Newton`s spirit remains unbroken. This endearing pup has a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures in life. He loves being outdoors, where he can enjoy the fresh air and take leisurely strolls, feeling the grass beneath his paws. Though his walks are short, they bring him immense joy and a sense of adventure.Newton`s super-sweet temperament shines through in his quiet and peaceful demeanor. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making him a perfect companion for a household with furry friends. While he sleeps most of the day, Newton`s presence brings a sense of calm and warmth to any room. He is on a canned-food diet and can be a bit of a picky eater, but with a little patience and love, he happily enjoys his meals. Newton needs a single-level home without any stairs, where he can move around comfortably and safely. He is searching for a compassionate family who will cherish him and provide the care and comfort he deserves. In return, he will offer unconditional love and companionship, making every moment together truly special.Interested in adopting this dog? Story
Rachel is a young Chihuahua with a personality that would fit right in at Central Perk. Named after Rachel Green from “Friends,” she’s a bit of a diva in her own adorable way—full of charm and always ready for snuggles. Though she`s fully house-trained, sometimes her excitement gets the best of her, resulting in a little tinkle, but with her lovable nature, it’s hard to be upset. Rachel can be shy with new people, much like Rachel Green was when she first arrived at Monica’s apartment, but she warms up with a little patience. She’s never aggressive, just a bit cautious, and once she trusts someone, she’s loyal through and through.True to her namesake, Rachel enjoys the finer things in life—like a cozy lap and a warm spot to cuddle. She’s treat-motivated, so with a few “Scooby Snacks” (or in this case, little dog treats), she’s more than willing to learn new tricks. She’s also a bit picky about outdoor time, preferring to pop outside quickly and return to her comfort zone indoors. Like Rachel Green finding herself and her independence in New York, this Rachel is finding her stride and a sense of comfort in familiar places, especially if her person is nearby. This little lady would be happiest in a calm, affectionate home with someone who doesn’t mind sharing the couch—or even their lap—because she’s all about bonding time. Crate-trained but happiest when she’s close to her person, Rachel doesn’t need much stimulation, just a present and loving companion. She’s content to lounge around and would happily become the Monica to your Chandler, always nearby and ready to bring love, laughter, and endless devotion into your life. With her mix of sweetness, quirkiness, and a touch of that Rachel Green spark, she’s sure to be the perfect cuddle buddy and forever friend.Interested in adopting this dog? Story
Let me tell you about Argo, this little gentleman of a dog. At just 5.5 pounds and 14 years old, he’s proof that big personalities come in small packages. When he barks, you’d think he’s twice his size—especially if he catches sight of dogs or people passing by a window! But most of the time, you’ll find him burrowed away, snug as a bug under blankets, in his bed, or even tucked under the laundry. Argo isn’t one for playing or fussing with toys, but he gets along nicely with older children and other dogs. That said, he does like to remind male dogs who’s boss—his small size doesn’t stop him from showing a little dominance now and then. Not to worry, he is easily redirected with a simple “no!”When he first arrived, the poor lad looked like he’d been through the wringer: dirty, matted, with an upset tummy and a frailty that would break your heart. But thanks to his foster’s loving care—neutering to remove testicular cancer, dental treatments, and a lot of extra love—Argo’s had a glow-up for the ages. He fit in with the senior dog crew at his foster’s home in no time and now carries himself like he’s been part of the gang forever.Rain or snow? Forget about it—this fellow isn’t stepping outside if his little paws might get wet. But let me tell you, when Argo looks up at his foster, there’s a glimmer of gratitude that speaks volumes. He knows he’s safe, warm, and loved, and he’s forever thankful for the second chance he’s been given. A true testament to the resilience of the smallest among us. Interested in adopting this dog?
