You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Do Not Apply for a pet with PENDING in the name bar.  They have been matched with a home, but not adopted yet. Sunny was born Nov 2023. She is a little shy when she meets you, but becomes your little shadow within a few days. She is beginning to take treats and play with toys. She is 8 lbs and should not get any larger.  Adoption fee is 650.00. We are working on housetraining. She gets along with other dogs, cats and older children.   Thank you for choosing rescue! We are volunteers with other commitments in addition to rescue. Our time is very limited. Therefore, we request a  $20.00  donation through paypal in order to process and expedite your application. This shows that you are truly interested in adoption. Your application will remain on file for a year. Applications are available at www.eastcoasthumanesociety.com under forms/application. Donation should be made through Paypal at www.eastcoasthumanesociety.com. We are only available by phone after you have an approved application. All pets are located in the southeast. Transport is available to the NE for an additional $300.00 transport fee. We do not adopt in MA, RI due to import laws. Residents MUST pick up in CT. All dogs over 8 months will be spayed or neutered and heartworm tested. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated,microchipped, dewormed and treated for other parasites. Please read the FAQ on our website for additional information. Adoption fees are cash or money order only. Micah born 7/25/24. He is so adorable and friendly. He gets along great with everyone! There are no known health issues. He just became too old to be sold retail.  He will need work on housetraining. Located in boarding in the midwest. Adoption fee is 950.00 and includes transport to the the NE or SE. You pay adoption fee when you pick up.     Thank you for choosing rescue! I'm taking over care for my 101 yr old mother, Dog is playful and active, but play level is high and dog is very passionate aboyt playing tug of war5 and fetching, but he's aggressive sometimes his claws and teeth contact the skin, not biting, just playing. My mother is frail and I fear Burly could hurt her. He's great with kids, loves going for walks, house trained. Dog obtained from homeless person who needed help, was supposed to be a temporary arrangement, but the person still can't take the dog. Kennel, food, toys and treats will be included.
