Story
Meet Glory, a super sweet 2 year old spayed female chihuahua mix, weighing about 10 lbs! Glory was heavily pregnant when she was taken into rescue, and she gave birth to 4 puppies just before the 4th of July (Liberty, Patriot, Victoria, and Yankee). Most of her pups have been adopted, and now it's mama Glory's turn to find her furever home!
Glory is a shy girl who takes a little time to warm up to new people, but she is very sweet! She is good with other dogs, cats, and people. We recommend older kids 8+ who know to respect a dog's space (due to her small size and nervousness).
From Glory's current foster:
"Glory took about 1-2 days to fully come out of her shell, shy and very nervous at first (has the typical chihuahua shakes, tail between her legs) but now is running all over the house, tail wagging, jumping into our laps and arms and wants nothing more than to snuggle in your arms. Playful and loves belly rubs. Has warmed up to the whole house, loves all people and dogs. Quiet as a mouse. Housebroken and crate trained. Just the cutest thing ever."
Glory is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. Apply to meet this darling girl today!
Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding!
