Story
Meet Duke, the heart-stealing, senior Chihuahua mix who's had quite the journey to find his forever sofa—er, home! This little guy is 16 years young and 18 lbs of pure love, with all of the spirit of a much younger pup (minus the puppy hassles.) Once he’s made himself at home, Duke’s house manners are impeccable — in fact, he’s a bit of a homebody and would prefer to chill on the couch with you than go out. He does enjoy a daily walk, and is a total PRO on a leash.     When it comes to socializing, Duke is a real charmer with a solid gold record with dogs, cats and humans. Oh, and while he's got no interest in guarding resources, he does have a bit of an obsession with his food bowl—and your proximity to it. He’s highly food motivated and extra responsive to vocal commands if there’s a treat involved.   Our boy isn’t much of a barker, but he’ll let you know if someone’s tiptoeing around the yard. And while he might not hear as well as he used to, that just means he's not bothered by loud noises—what a champ! Just a heads up: avoid touching his feet; he's not a fan.   Energy-wise, Duke's all about the easy life. A stroll in the yard or a short walk will do, and then it’s straight back to snuggling up.    The ideal home for Duke? He needs an adult human who's more into relaxing than running and who appreciates the finer, quieter moments in life. While a companion dog isn’t necessary, having someone around most of the time is essential for him. Preferably no - or minimal - stairs.   Ready to let this lovable gentleman into your heart and home? Story
Mia is a beautiful tri-color three year old Chihuahua mix girl (weighing 14 lbs.) who has the sweetest personality. She loves attention and being your little companion. She came to us from a family who was unable to afford and properly take care of their dogs. The family had four Chihuahuas. This little angel is kennel-trained, leash-trained, loves car rides, and living life to its fullest. Mia has a lovely temperament. She loves playing with other dogs, running after stuffed toys, chewing on collagen chews, and is appreciative of this second chance at life. She has NEVER had any puppies, or have any issues with separation anxiety, resource guarding, she is an easygoing wonderful girl!!! Mia loves to be held, and would flourish in a family of her own. We look forward to her future happy ever after SOON! Mia has been examined by our vet, and given three dhpp vaccines, rabies, bordetella, canine influenza, & leptospirosis vaccines. Mia DOES NOT have any heart murmur, luxating patellas, skin, or allergy issues. She is given Simparica Trio on the first of every month for heartworm and flea/tick prevention. All vaccines are given by our outstanding vet & vet techs. We email all veterinary records prior to adoption. Mia is dewormed every two weeks. This precious pup is spayed & microchipped. We provide our rescued puppies and dogs with the highest quality veterinary care as our own pets receive. Proper veterinary care is our number one PRIORITY and it shows in the health of our rescued puppies and dogs. My adoption fee is $400 and transportation fee is $350 from Houston, Texas to Denver, Colorado. We use the highest standard transporter in the industry. We have many happy adopters on both West Coast, East Coast, and Canada. We are pleased to provide referrals upon request. Our greatest goal is to properly match a rescued pup with the perfect adopter. We have over twenty plus years experience in rescuing pets. It is truly our greatest joy.

Story
Paris! This precious girl was abandoned in Houston at a doggy day care & the dog loving staff stepped up to help this girl in her time of need! Paris is a petite Chihuahua/terrier mix who is 3 months of age and weighs about 6 pounds. We estimate her adult weight to be between 12-15 pounds, perhaps even smaller. Paris has a stunning brindle coast & is not a big time shedder. Just like her sister, Paris has a perfectly proportioned body. This girl is well socialized, with a curious, affectionate personality & loves people---- other dogs, small, medium, & large. Paris enjoys playtime with her sisters!!. (Check out their adorable pic!) She has mastered kennel-training, walking on a leash, & enjoys car rides. We are working on "sit" & basic training. Paris is one smart cookie & demonstrating fabulous puppy success at this time. We look forward to her brilliant happy ever after soon! Please check out her video to catch a glimpse of this cutie's vibe. She is a WINNER!
