Story
As cute as they come, Knox at 8 weeks old is leaving his neglected beginning in the dust and is ready for the good life. With his “that’s all in the past” attitude, he’s now living it up in his loving foster home. We believe Knox is a Shih Tzu mix, with a splash of Yorkshire Terrier or another similar breed. Wherever the mix came from, one thing’s for sure—he’s a heart-stealer! Knox is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and officially ready to find his forever family. While our adoption fees may seem higher, this is intentional to discourage the resale of puppies and ensure they’re placed in committed homes. We follow a conversation-based adoption process as recommended by National No Kill Advocacy guidelines to make sure it’s a perfect match. Knox is being fostered through Blackberry Point Haven, a licensed rescue based in Wisconsin (License Number: DS-537371) with foster homes in Illinois. We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping pups like Knox start their next chapter. If you think Knox might be your perfect companion, reach out and let’s chat! Linda is an 8-week-old Labradoodle with a whole lot of charm and a dash of goofiness. She’s playful, sweet, and always ready to explore life one adorable paw step at a time. Linda is up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and fully ready to find her forever family. Whether she’s romping around the yard, snuggling on the couch, or trying to “help” you with your chores, this girl will bring smiles wherever she goes. ** Canine companion required **Meet Rosalina, an 11 lb Shih Tzu mix that spent her life being used for breeding. Because of her background, she`s extremely shy around people and spends her day snuggled up with other dogs in a secluded area rather than join in the bustle of the household. She also takes her cues from the other dogs in her foster home and will need a canine companion in her forever home to show her the ropes. Rosalina will need a family that`s willing to give her extra time and patience to come out of her shell and show her how wonderful life can be as a spoiled pet. She`s not ready to be leashed and her family will need a way to let her do her business outside in a fenced in yard or puppy pen until she gets comfortable enough to be walked. If you`re willing to take a chance on Rosalina and give her the affection and patience she needs, you`ll be rewarded tenfold watching her come out of her shell and find joy and comfort in life. Hi, my name is Bibble, I am a super special girl. I was a puppy mill breeder release which means I was used for my babies and had very little contact with the outside world. Jrs was a bit surprised when they realized that I arrived pregnant. I quickly went to a foster home where I did an amazing job taking care of my babies. They are all adopted and now it`s my turn to find my family. I have a special bond with my foster mom, and I tolerate my foster dad but due to my past I struggle with new people. Depending on the situation I tend to either run away or bark to let you know I am uncomfortable. I am looking for a special connection with a patient person that will keep me happy and safe!
