As cute as they come, Knox at 8 weeks old is leaving his neglected beginning in the dust and is ready for the good life. With his “that’s all in the past” attitude, he’s now living it up in his loving foster home. We believe Knox is a Shih Tzu mix, with a splash of Yorkshire Terrier or another similar breed. Wherever the mix came from, one thing’s for sure—he’s a heart-stealer! Knox is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and officially ready to find his forever family. While our adoption fees may seem higher, this is intentional to discourage the resale of puppies and ensure they’re placed in committed homes. We follow a conversation-based adoption process as recommended by National No Kill Advocacy guidelines to make sure it’s a perfect match. Knox is being fostered through Blackberry Point Haven, a licensed rescue based in Wisconsin (License Number: DS-537371) with foster homes in Illinois. I am being fostered in the Chicagoland suburbs. I went unsold and the breeder didn't want to waste money on feeding and cleaning me anymore so I found my way out. Luckily there's an out for us breeder dogs. I'm sweet and it's not my fault that I was born into a breeding situation. We didn't ask for this I am cute and smart! Please pick me. My adoption fee of 800 includes my current vaccines. My microchip, bordatella, and my spay at our rescue vet. If you prefer your vet to preform my alteration 100 will be reimbursed to you upon completion, but this must be done. We have a contract and it's our mission to try to keep dogs out of shelters. Because of her background, she`s extremely shy around people and spends her day snuggled up with other dogs in a secluded area rather than join in the bustle of the household. She also takes her cues from the other dogs in her foster home and will need a canine companion in her forever home to show her the ropes. Rosalina will need a family that`s willing to give her extra time and patience to come out of her shell and show her how wonderful life can be as a spoiled pet. She`s not ready to be leashed and her family will need a way to let her do her business outside in a fenced in yard or puppy pen until she gets comfortable enough to be walked. If you`re willing to take a chance on Rosalina and give her the affection and patience she needs, you`ll be rewarded tenfold watching her come out of her shell and find joy and comfort in life. Jrs was a bit surprised when they realized that I arrived pregnant. I quickly went to a foster home where I did an amazing job taking care of my babies.
