These fluffy little lovebugs are ready to find their forever families! Each pup has their own personality playful, affectionate, and full of that signature Shih Tzu charm. Theyre being well-socialized in foster care and are learning all about toys, cuddles, and the joys of puppy life. As young pups, theyll need families ready to continue their training and give them the structure, patience, and love they need to thrive. A Few Important Notes: Adoption Area: We only adopt to families living in Illinois, Wisconsin, or states that directly border either IL or WI. Renters: If you rent, please have your landlord contact us directly at mallorytsherwood@gmail.com to confirm that dogs are allowed in your home. Adoption Fee: $800, which includes microchip, current vaccines and boosters, deworming, and spay/neuter at our rescue vet. Using Your Own Vet: If you prefer to complete the spay/neuter with your own vet, well reimburse $100 once proof of procedure is provided. This must be done before 6 months of age, and adopters will sign a contract agreeing to this. He’s a five-year-old Shih Tzu, in good health (no diarrhea or vomiting) other than an adorable underbite. Cocoa is a puppy mill release who I’m sure was a house dog before being in the mill. He was house broken as soon as I brought him into my home. He’s not fond of snow or rain but typically will go out just far enough to take care of business. Cocoa is good with other dogs and is quite playful. He enjoys wrestling and tug with my dog. He enjoys walks, is not reactive to other dogs out walking and wants to meet everyone! Cocoa will be neutered on January 15th and will be available for adoption afterwards. You can meet with him before that.

She loves to play with plushie toys, loves toys with floppy ears, and a tail is a plus. She will get the zoomies and loves to run and investigate in the yard. She does not like puppies jumping around her. She sleeps in a puppy pen with a potty pad on a soft blanket and a costume She likes to snuggle with the last foster home gave me. You can see in her eyes that humans were not kind to her. She desperately needs a family that will be patient and loving to help her trust and grow. She is starting to trust us enough to show her tummy and ask for more belly rubs and it just melts your heart. ?? She is a fast learner and has been going potty outside every time we take her! I know she is going to be an incredible companion and the family that gets her will be so rewarded with her loyalty and love.
