Story
Meet Bailey! Bailey is a sweet, affectionate little guy who lives for walks & would happily head out again the moment you pick up his leash. When he’s home, he’s all about cuddles, closeness, & being near his person. Bailey is currently working on staying calm around other dogs while on leash, & he’s making progress with consistent handling & structure. He’d do best in a home without cats & with someone who enjoys getting outside & then settling in together. If you’re looking for a loyal walking buddy who also loves to snuggle, Bailey is ready to meet you.Apply at Rescuegang.orgDATCP#483538

Story
This is your chance to truly rescue and help heal an amazing dog! Holly is an 8-year-old “teddy bear” (Shih Tzu Poodle mix) that was just rescued from a puppy mill. You can see in her eyes that humans were not kind to her. She desperately needs a family that will be patient and loving to help her trust and grow. She is starting to trust us enough to show her tummy and ask for more belly rubs and it just melts your heart. ?? She is a fast learner and has been going potty outside every time we take her! I know she is going to be an incredible companion and the family that gets her will be so rewarded with her loyalty and love. She would do best in a home that already has a pooch that can help guide her. Fostered in Wauwatosa. Apply to adopt at: www.nbstr.org

Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs! To sponsor my trip to WI, go to  www.tailwaggers911.com  for more info! ***I am able to go home to my forever family right off of transport! You get a 5 day trial with me in your home. Put in your application soon!*** Please help me get out! I am currently in a place where there are lots of unwanted dogs and not all of us here get the chance I might have to leave! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on January 9th and arrive on January 10th, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever and I am worried. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!!   Updated: 12/6/2025 Dog Name: Scuttle Sex: Male Estimated Breed: Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso Mix Approximate Age: 1 year Approximate Weight: 16 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Neutered Description: Poor Scuttle was surrendered as the holidays were coming and the family no longer wanted him. Unfortunately, most people get excited about having a puppy but do not commit to owning a dog. He is such a sweet boy. He is a playful pup who likes to run so fast! Scuttle is great with other dogs. We suggest that Scuttle goes to a home with older kids because he might be too high energy for some younger kids. He is young and full of life and love! He is a cutie who definitely will be your best friend!! Adoption Fee: $550We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. January 7, 2026, 1:48 am
