He has reached his mature weight of 10 pounds, and due his petite size, children in the home should be older than ten years or have experience handling small dogs. He wears a long coat of brown and white. His playful nature is infectious, lighting up any room with his energy. Despite his zest for play, Rocco also has a mellow side, enjoying quiet cuddles and showing his affectionate, loyal nature. He's smart and independent, often amusing himself with toys. Rocco can be a bit shy at first, but once he warms up, he's your best friend for life. Rocco was surrendered when his owner could no longer care for him. His blend of playfulness, intelligence, and loyalty makes Rocco an ideal companion. His unique mix of breeds contributes to his friendly and cuddly demeanor. Hi, my name is Izzie and my foster pawrents say that I'm just the sweetest little girl! I ended up at the shelter labeled as a stray - whatever that is. That is where I started my journey as a Miri's Haven dog. I've already moved on from my stray era and I'm totally in my glow up era. (humble brag - sorry, not sorry) My loves in life are food, being with people, and a quick run through the yard followed by a snooze. I'm pretty good at pottying outside but sometimes you have to remind me and I don't mind if you put pee pads out for me. I'm great with the dogs and cats here at my foster pawrents' house. Sometimes I holler at the other dogs if they try to bother me when I'm sleeping. I also think that everyone should share their food with me but they don't seem to agree. I'm also an expert splooter and hoping they add it to the Olympics so I can compete in LA. I take one pill a day for Cushing's and don't even mind it beacause it's an extra snackie. Benji is an 8 year old, very handsome, 19 pound, little boy who will devote all his attention to you. He is very loveable and enjoys TV time, laying next to you and he is always is up for a walk around the neighborhood. He loves toys and loves to play fetch. Benji was an owner surrender to a local shelter and he was only there for a day before he was transfered to us. He came with Pedigree paperwork and we have his entire family-tree layout and actual date-of-birth. A good home for Benji would be one with an alpha owner who can continue to show him the ropes as he can be a little stubborn at times. We also feel he would do best in a home with older, considerate, children as he can be tempermental with small children. He is good with other dogs and cats and looks forward to greeting new visitors. He was resently neutered, up to date on his rabies and distemper vaccinations, (which are not due again until April of 2027), and he had a full blood panel analysis.
