He has reached his mature weight of 10 pounds, and due his petite size, children in the home should be older than ten years or have experience handling small dogs. He wears a long coat of brown and white. His playful nature is infectious, lighting up any room with his energy. Despite his zest for play, Rocco also has a mellow side, enjoying quiet cuddles and showing his affectionate, loyal nature. He's smart and independent, often amusing himself with toys. Where to begin? I'll tell you about this dog named Bandit. He's around 3 years old. A Shih tzu mix, he wears a long, soft coat of black and tan, and weighs only 16 pounds. It's because of his small size that any children in your home should be at least10 years old. Small children don't always realize their own strength and might unintentionally hurt such a small dog. But there are many ways to hurt another, aren't there? Bandit is a wonderful dog who gets along with other dogs, kids and his foster's cat. Still, his previous owner took him to the vet to be euthanized because she &#194&#147no longer wanted him.&#194&#148 It hurts to even think about that, doesn't it? We're doing all we can in rescue to make him forget that, and we know you will, too.
