Story
Snowball was abandoned stray on the streets for months, distrusted people and afraid of being hurt, dealing with harsh winter conditions, searching for any scrap of food and shelter. A wonderful angel never gave up trying to gain his trust and help him. Once he took the first step to trust, Snowball's life began a new. Now in rescue, he got the medical attention he needed, making sure he did not have any issues from his days on the streets, groomed and ready for a loving home. Snowball is 17 pounds, 1-2 years old, Shih tzu/ Maltese mix. He is housetrained, does good on a leash, plays well with other dogs, ok with cats. He loves his doggy bed, blankets, stuffed toys, treats and most of all hanging with a person that gives him lots of attention. He is afraid of loud noise, fireworks, loud voices and will find a place to hide. Snowball is well mannered and gentle. Neutered, wormed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, flea/tick treatment located in a foster home in southern Idaho, transport is provided within the Pacific northwest to approved home. Story
Gabby This precious 5 ½ lb. little girl who has been through a lot but still has the sweetest disposition. Due to no fault of her own, Gabby is back at her foster home after an adoption didn’t work very well. Gabby is thriving and ready for her forever home. She is incredibly smart, learns very quickly and is very “treat” motivated! Just look at her adoring face, she loves to snuggle and just wants to be loved. A very special little girl. Gabby loves to play with her brother and fosters dogs big in and small while running zoomies like a little bullet. Full of nonstop energy, she loves to chew on her chew toys and puppy bones. Always wanting to be wherever you are when she is not playing with her brother. Gabby would do well with someone patient and understanding since she has been bounced around a bit. Also, someone that is home quite a bit and /or has other dogs for her to interact with. Gabby and her brother Eddy (also up for adoption) are two peas in a pod, they both love to socialize and play Hard, following each other everywhere. Gabby is house trained and although she is so small she can cruise right through the doggie door. She would need a well-fenced yard as she can make it through little spaces Born 7/12/24, mom is Shih Tzu mix and dad is a traveling man. Up to date on vaccines, spayed, micro chipped, health check. Fenced yard was needed, good with other dogs and kids. In southern Idaho, transport is provided to approved homes, within the Pacific Northwest. Email journeyhomerescue@outlook.com for Gabby.
