Story
YOU'RE GONNA LOVE NIGEL, NICKY AND NELSON!
These adorable brothers were being given away in Newport when Manny, one of our volunteers, snagged them, fearful of what might become of them. A happy new life awaits them in a home of their very own!
About 3 months old, they've been neutered, wormed, chipped and had their first puppy shots. Our best guess is that they're Shih Tzu/Maltese crosses. Like all puppies their age, they're a work in progress as far as training goes. They'll need your time and patience to work with them on potty training, and think leashes are instruments of torture, intended to hamper their exuberant playtime. Cats are fun things to chase, in their minds, so they definitely need to be in a dog only home, for the sake of the poor kitties. They are best of buddies and get concerned whenever they don't know where one of their brothers has disappeared to. A joyful family reunion always ensues when they find each other again. They absolutely adore people and will be happiest in a home where they can spend copious amounts of time with their two-legged family members.
Here's the cast of characters:
Nelson is tri-colored, white, tan, and with a black moustache. A couple pounds heavier than his brothers, he can throw his weight around during crazy play sessions, as big brothers often do. He gets along well with his siblings though, and anything that doesn't run from him. Nelson is very friendly, personable and loves his cuddle time!
Nigel is solid white and stands up for himself during 'Get the Puppy!' rough housing. He gives as good as he gets and enjoys turning the tables if his siblings gang up on him. Like Nelson he's as friendly, engaging and snuggly as he can be!
Nicky, black and white, can be just a little more cautious than his brothers. Maybe he's just smarter and checks things out before dashing off into the unknow. A sweet little fellow, he blisses out when being carried and cuddled.
To meet this trio of fuzzballs, please fill out an adoption application on our website using this link: https://pawsitiveoutreach.org/adoption-application or call Gina at (480)779-9208. The adoption fee for one of these snuggle bugs is $300 or adopt a pair for $550. Don't wait too long, we expect they'll be heading home soon!
