Story
Hudson is 16 and still acts like a puppy! Hes so playful and very loyal to the one who feeds him. We got him from a breeder when he was a puppy when my 4 kids lived at home. My husband and I travel a lot now that hes retired and when we are home, we are very busy with our 8 grandkids. Im looking for someone who has time to love on and invest in Hudson. Hes up to date on all his shots and is in excellent health. I keep him in diapers because we just did a remodel on our house and don’t want any accidents. He stays dry all night and only wakes me when hes having a dream 🤣 He sleeps in a little bed in his crate with the door open and eats only dry food. Hes the cutest dog ever but he is loosing his hearing. He responds to a loud clap. Hes the sweetest dog on the planet ❤️

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.All dogs listed here are available for adoption from Yorkie Rescue Houston.  Our goal is to ensure our rescued pets go to their forever home and never end up back in the system.  To that end, an application is required on all potential adopters.   Our adoption fee varies by dog.  We accept electronic funds via VENMO or Paypal, or cash only. Puppies too young to be spayed/neutered are available for Foster-to-Adopt only.  A FTA contract is required.   This baby was surrendered to our rescue with his let eye socket had a substantial discharge. His left eye had been removed, but they failed to remove the 'third eyelid' and that caused a problem.  We repaired the botched enucleation while he was under for his dental and neuter.  He was underweight on intake so we added higher calorie food to his diet. Heff exudes sweetness and excitement, particularly around those he trusts. While he gets along well with most dogs, he prefers a calm environment without constant jumping. Currently honing his potty and leash skills, Heff's boundless love and willingness to learn ensure he'll excel with a consistent schedule. Heff does have 1 unique feature about him. His smile, he has two rows of teeth as you will see in his profile pictures. This affectionate pup is primed to adapt and thrive in any loving home, especially one with kids or other small dogs. Heff is also cat friendly and sometimes even shows his affection by rubbing his body on your legs like his cat friends. Heff is a sweet boy who's looking for his forever home. They like to ride in the car and will ride in a crate, but are not fond of sleeping in their crates. Jody Bob is a Velcro boy and loves to follow his person around the house while Cody Lee is a little more independent. They both get along well with other dogs. They are potty trained if taken out on a consistent basis. Cody does have a cataract in his left eye but it dosen't seem to bother him. They are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, fecal and Heartworm negative Adoption fee is: $500.00 ea. ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract.
