Meet Mayor, a kind-hearted 23 lbs 10 year old senior Lhasa Apso/Shih-tzu mix. If you are looking for a relaxing companion to accompany you on daytime naps and lounges in the sun, you have found your guy! He has gotten along great with his foster dog siblings and has been friendly with everyone he has met. Mayor is great with all people and dogs - as long as they respect that he is vision-impaired and are gentle with him. It is scary not being able to see well, but Mayor doesn't seem to let it slow him down. This sweet little man would love a forever home to live out his golden years. Mayor is almost completely blind, so he will need a family that is patient with him in his early days at home while he learns his area and his routine. Once he has gotten used to his routine, he is good with his house-training and knows to go potty outside. He is also great on a leash and on car rides. He is neutered, up to date on shots, hw negative, microchipped and just had a dental. Adoption fee is: $100 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. They like to ride in the car and will ride in a crate, but are not fond of sleeping in their crates. Jody Bob is a Velcro boy and loves to follow his person around the house while Cody Lee is a little more independent. They both get along well with other dogs. Willow Joy is a 7 month, 7 lb Shih Tzu who will steal your heart when you meet her. She was surrendered to CAMO as her previous owners could not afford to take care of her due to her chronic eye infections. Willow is currently on an eye drop and an eye ointment. Her eyes are doing so much better than when she first arrived, but due to the longstanding chronic eye infections she has had, she may be on an eye drop and/or ointment for life. Willow loves to be the center of attention and is the life of the party! She enjoys playing with her foster siblings, chasing her own tail, and leaving a trail of her stuffed toys all around the house. Willow will follow you ALL around the house and can be a trip hazard as she is always right at your feet being nosy! If needed, she will play with her toys inside a doggy playpen and occasionally takes puppy naps in there too! Willow Joy is learning the daily routine of spoiled puppy life from her foster siblings. She is doing well with her house-training, but as with any new puppy, accidents can happen. She loves to sleep cuddled up on the couch next to you, at the head of your bed or in her playpen all night long. Willow is spayed and up to date on her vaccines. Nelly, her litter mate Sophie, their mother and (possibly) their father were all surrendered to a local shelter less than two days before Christmas. Nelly weighs 7.8 lbs at about 3 months old. Mother was a small Shih Tzu probably under 8 lbs. Father (possibly) about 25 lbs white poodle/terrier mix dropped off along with mamma and pups. Nelly has been in her foster home for about four weeks and is doing great. She has had two rounds of puppy vaccines. She’s being fostered along with her sister Sophie. Both pups are quiet through the night. They spend their days playing and napping. Nelly is very playful, medium/high energy, and LOVES her toys. She’s an adventurous puppy, quick to learn new things, loves people and other dogs. Although Nelly would be ok as an only dog, I envision her living her best life with another playful small/medium sized dog. She would be great in an active family with older kids. (Nelly is not an old person’s dog LOL—way too much energy and adventurous spirit packed into this puppy for a senior!) She will need 1 more round of vaccinations, and ready for spay at 6 months old. She can be adopted with a spay/neuter contract and be able to get her to one of our vets in Houston or Dallas area.
