Story
Curry is a little doll! Weighing in at 8 lbs he is the cutest, smartest little guy. It takes a few days for him to warm up to you but once he does he'll want hugs, kisses and belly rubs! Don't think he would do well with small kids with his limited eye sight and quick movements. He has quite the bark, and does well with my other dogs (2 of which are blind). Loves to play and is curious, gets underfoot because he wants to be near you. Poor Curry was a hot mess, he was terrified, in pain, had a bulging eye, covered in mats and needed a shave and eye removal for comfort and his health. He is settling in now, at first he was so nervous to come near him, now he immediately rolls over for belly rubs. At 1.5 years old and 8 pounds he has turned into a flutter of affection and will need a home that will continue to provide him the security he needs. Story
I`m Precious, a 14 year old, 8 pound, female shih tzu. Looking to give a senior a second chance? Check me out! I came to Second Chance after my owner passed away. The volunteers at the shelter call me a `spunky senior` because I have lots of energy and love to get out and about! I`m in great health for my age, I need eye drops for allergies, but I`m a super good girl and sit very still for my daily drops. I absolutely love people, whether I`m receiving head pats or sitting in your lap, I`m enjoying whatever affection comes my way. I`m not afraid of anything, I walk around the shelter like I own it, not even the big dogs scare me. I would be great in a home with cats or other dogs. I love treats and I`m easily bribed into becoming your friend. Looking for a spunky, outgoing senior? Look no further!Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. The best way to get in touch with us is by email: info@secondchancespca.org. Due to the volume of calls, only the most urgent calls will be returned. Rizza is an adorable mixed breed pup with short legs. We aren't quite sure what combination of breeds makes up all this cuteness, possibly some shihtzu. Just look at her adorable underbite! Rizza is good with dogs of all sizes, cats and even children. She is 6 months old and her adoption fee is $350. ##2075922##
