Little Winona loooooooves to cuddle up on your lap or behind your shoulder like a cat. She's spunky and sassy and a fantastic companion! In fact, her foster family affectionately calls her "La Nona," as in a sweet Italian grandma. While she is not grandma-aged, she is like a grandma in personality. She likes things the way she likes them and has clear opinions about who she adores the most. If you're one of her favorites, all she wants is to spend the day snuggled on the couch with you or sharing your pillow. When she's not in cuddle mode, she loves to zoom around the yard and is the happiest tippy tapper sweet girl in the world. Winona would love a homebody who likes to cuddle and go for leisurely walks. She is a master backyard squirrel chaser and ideally would have an opportunity to lead squirrel patrol in a forever home with a backyard. She currently shares a foster home with two large resident dogs and does very well, but would prefer a home where she is your number one or can be paired with a low-energy pup. She would also appreciate a comfy space like an open crate or a doggy bed where she can rest and relax, although she does not enjoy being enclosed in a crate. With couches, beds, pillows, and cozy laps to choose from, who can blame her? If you are looking for some sugar and spice to add to your life, reach out to meet Winona today! Here are some things about Nutella- she is one of the sweetest, gentlest fosters I’ve had, She’s happy, wiggly, bouncy, runs super fast, and loves to bury herself in pillows. She’s eager to please & doing really good on potty training and using pads, but still needs gentle guidance on going outside. She doesn’t like the leash, but will warm up with more practice. She is afraid of big dogs, but really enjoys playing with dogs her size, A LOT- especially leap frog and chase. She does need time to warm up to new people but overall, I think she’s just been through a lot of changes and is unsure what to expect. I think she will be a great dog in any situation with patience and positive enforcement. Austin, TX area adoptions preferred. Children over 5 years. Nutella's adoption fee of $450 includes the vet exam, microchip, vaccinations, dewormer, rabies vaccine, spay.

She has been passed around our family as the kids have grown; however, our grandson who currently has her has an 1 year old daughter and mom doesn’t do well with the dog. They also just relocated to an apartment and can’t afford the pet deposit. Bella has been around kids her whole life, she isn’t to keen on sharing with other animals. She’d be a great companion for an older person. She likes to ride in the car and look out the window. She enjoys walks (short) and fresh air. She loves fuzzy blankets to lie on while her owners watch TV and thinks she’s in heaven if she can sleep at foot of bed.
