His favorite time is feeding time when he bounces around exclaiming he is starving. He’s not a fan of thunder and will ask to be comforted then which in all honesty is one of the few times he allows human contact. Meet Pirate!Ahoy, matey! Here`s Pirate, a sweet 8 year old Shih Tzu mix with a heart as big as the seven seas! Though she may have lost her right eye to an unfortunate scallywag of an infection, this brave lass still sails through life with plenty of spunk and joy. Pirate may be blind, but she’s got the best ears on deck—she gets really excited when she hears her crew (you!) come home, and while she`s usually a quiet shipmate, she can`t help but bark when she hears a man`s voice—though it’s over as quick as a passing storm.Pirate loves the company of her fellow shipmates—her dog and cat friends—even if they’re not quite as keen on her. She may not be playing fetch with them, but she’s more than content to just be near them. Mylo was born 04/24/21, she was originally brought by my sister as a gift for her daughter as a gift. As time went on my sister moved into a new home where they do not accept animals. As a favor I decided to keep the dog as good faith that way when my niece would visit she can play with the dog. Now unfortunately I'm at the point to where I can not keep Mylo and am looking for a good home for her, that way she can love a better life then what I can give her. She is a very shy dog until she feels comfortable with you. Not good around other dogs, easily scared.

Logan, rescued from SPCA, has been a family pet his first 9 years of his 14 years . After the divorce he has lived in a single household with the second family pet. He is sensitive to thunder and will usually hide somewhere. Logan does not get excited, just anxious and shivers. He is good with dogs, but in closed quarters it does take him a while to connect. When I did take him to dog parks, Logan and our other family dog usually stuck together. He may not be socialable but he is not aggressive. He has set the boundaries once or twice with new dogs in close contact. No history of biting other dogs or humans. I unfortunately looking for a new home for Logan because of moving and the burden of two dogs. I moved to an apartment in a new city in hopes of purchasing a house at the end of the lease. After one year and 6 months I will be signing another lease in a less expensive complex and the fee alone to move my two dogs will $1300. Then there will be a monthly fee as well.
