TOBY HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!!!   This little fella is a real love bug!  I'm hoping one of the kind of adopters who call and ask for a sweet little lap dog will decide he's the right one.  He wants to be with his human all the time,,, so needs someone who is around home most of the time. He's thru his vetting,,,, he got a dental done this week and  is ready to go.  I figured a little preview might be a good idea so you got to see his "before pics".... now I have a couple newer ones to share We think Toby is about 10 years old and he weighs about 14 pounds.  So far, he's been happy to interact with every human he's met.  He's been fine with all the other dogs, but doesn't seem to have much interest in them, one way or the other,,,, he wants a person.  We haven't had any opportunity to see how he is with cats.November 6, 2024, 12:12 am

Myla is a cute little character,,,, she bounces up and down on two legs to be sure you notice her,,,, and tries to keep up with everything going on.  We suspected she had vision issues,, but it's hard to tell as they get around so well using their ears and noses,,,, but our vet confirmed that she appears to be blind.  She doesn't let they slow her down,,,,  She recently had her vetting done and that included a dental.  She's ready for a little less competition for attention I'm sure. She's almost as wiggly as the others,,, but I think we got one picture that wasn't out of focus.  February 22, 2025, 4:06 pm

Mindy is another of the group of small dogs we recently took in.  She's been vetted and had a dental done,,, and will really benefit from an environment where she has more individual attention.  She's a only real shy one in the group and can manage to hide behind the braver ones and not deal with humans too much.  But when you do handle her, she's very sweet and I don't think it will take her long to figure out that she can make two legged friends as well as four. She's estimated to be around 10 years old, and as with the others,,, her activity level belies her age.....  February 22, 2025, 4:28 pm

Barney is a 14-years-young shih tzu mix. We don’t really know much about his background, other than that, when he was brought into the shelter, he had to be shaved and had a raging ear infection so bad that his foster family thought he was deaf. Barney has had a dental, cleared up the ear infection and adjusted to life in his foster home. He has learned lots of new things, proving that you absolutely can teach an old dog new tricks, and that he is not deaf. He uses the doggie door like a champ and is currently living with 5 other dogs. He is a very pleasant fellow who likes to be in the same room with his people. He would make a great companion for someone older who is home most of the time. He walks great on a leash but really doesn’t need to go too far. He is housetrained, but he isn’t a huge fan of the rain, and he needs to be in a home without stairs. His foster family can’t say enough good things about him and says he is a very easy keeper who deserves a second ‘leash’ at a great life. Pablo is ready for his next Netflix and Chill partner. Snacks is his game, relaxing is his way. Will cuddle, kiss, lay at your feet or in your lap. Sleeps at your feet, never at your head. Pablo loves kids and other animals and gets along well with either but prefers the luxurious life of being “The One and Only.” Loves his human more than other animals. Pablo will be 6yrs old in a few months and is house trained with pads. Leash trained, up to date on vaccines and is microchipped. I am rehoming due to relocation. Pablo is ready for his next best friend to relax with or take a leisurely stroll through the neighborhood with.
