Story
Meet Bella! She’s looking for her forever family. Bella is like Sour Patch Kids — first she’s a little sour, then she’s oh-so-sweet. But don’t worry, it only takes a little patience to get to the sweet part. Her limited vision likely makes her feel unsure at first, as it can be scary not knowing who’s friend or foe. But give her a couple of days to “sniff” out that you’re a friend, and you’ll see her true, loving side.Don’t underestimate her — Bella is playful, affectionate, and a total cuddle bug! With a name like Bella, which means “beautiful,” she truly has a spirit to match. She does have a special need, though — Bella is diabetic and requires insulin twice a day.Her foster believes she would make a wonderful addition to a loving home, especially as the only fur baby, where she can get all the attention she deserves. We did not turn her away due to medical issues and we continue to do all she needs!Thought some of you might enjoy this quick little ditty. A wintry poem about Bella, a gritty itty bitty! Jingle Bella Oh Bella, sweet Shih Tzu, with her sassy flair, A senior queen with a soft, cloudy stare. Her milky eyes hide the fire inside, A cuddly spirit, with sass as her guide. Today, the snow fell quickly, and she strutted with delight, In her lumberjack jacket, snug and tight. A fearless warrior, so small yet so bold, Through winter’s chill, her warmth still unfolds. Oh, Jingle Bella, your song fills the air, A melody of courage, beyond compare. With a bark, a cuddle, a dash of sass, She proves each day, true joy can last. So here’s to you, Bella, brave and sweet, A foster pup who makes hearts skip a beat. Through snow and seasons, her love shines through, Jingle Bella, the world’s brighter with you!Sweet Bella, Her mom died and the family kicked her out to the curb. Little one has terrible teeth and no current vetting recordsWe will take care of all this and anything else this precious one needs. Being so small it is understandable that she is frightened of other dogs and small children and I do not blame her. She needs a lap to keep warm and someone who will treat her like the jewel she is. A senior that should have more years to make someone smile when they come home!Russellrescuetn@gmail.comAvailable dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else.
