Meet Butter! A playful, two-year-old, 13 lb neutered Shih-tzu mix. He’s the perfect mix of energy and companion. Butter is always ready for an adventure, entertaining himself with toys, going for a walk or romping around in the yard. But when the day winds down, he’s equally happy to curl up next to you, offering the perfect blend of lively spirit and laid-back charm. This sweet, affectionate boy loves having fun and relaxing in equal measure. Butter is eager to please and is a star pupil with learning his manners. He is crate trained and has made great progress on his house training. He is dog, cat and kid friendly. He is currently living with one other dog in his foster home. Butter has shown signs of being territorial when a new dog enters his domain. However, he’s remarkably adaptable and well-mannered when he’s the newcomer, fitting in quickly and respecting the boundaries of other dogs in their home. He is UTD on vaccinations and is fostered in Westminster, MD. New Oxford, PA, 17350; LIC #9736 We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
