Shadow’s a 2yo 6lb Shih Tzu mix. He’s dog, cat and kid 6+ friendly. He’s house trained when kept on a schedule and is crate trained. He’s good in a secure fenced in yard and/or going for harness leashed walks. He is a known escape artist so will really need to watch him in a yard and needs work on leash walking. He likes playing with toy, especially toys that he can chew on or play tug of war with. He loves to be with his people to cuddle and play/wrestle with other small dogs. He still has a lot of puppy energy. He’s very good with being bathed/groomed/getting nails clipped. Shadow’s foster requires he have another young playful small dog in the home, get daily exercise to help with all his energy and help stimulate him mentally, be allowed to be with his people as much as possible including sleeping in bed with them along with people who are on board to show leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirements, please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet.
