Story
Meet Cream Soda! This little girly pop is about 9 years old and has had a rough 9 years until now! She weighed 20lbs at intake. When she went in to be spayed, she was full of fluid. That was drained and an xray showed her heart is enlarged. At this time; she’s doing exceptionally well health wise. She is not on medications at this point, but could require that in the future. She will need another dog in the home. She finds comfort in them. She is fine with cats. She will need help with house training. She needs a tightly enclosed fenced in area or to be on a leash. She will need some time to warm up. Kids should be old enough to respect that! PA Kennel License #1333

Story
Birdie is 1.5 years old. She is guessed to be a Shih Tzu/Poodle mix. She weighs around 10-12 lbs. She can live with cats, kids and other dogs!** Birdie is in our care in Altoona PA. She is available for adoption. Each animal gets microchipped, spayed/neutered and vaccinated. The adoption fee covers those costs. Adoption fees are listed on the application. In person applications take priority over ones mailed or emailed (especially on a popular animal). An application must be filled out in order to visit with any dog or cat. They can be found on our website www.centralpahumane.org under the Adopt A Pet tab or at the shelter. Our animals are posted on Facebook and Petfinder when time permits. A Petfinder inquiry is not an application, and they may not be responded to. We can only accept so many applications for each animal. We do adopt out of state, but we cannot hold the animal. **PA Kennel License #1333.
