YODA is currently being fostered in TEXAS. ***Please note that we would prefer to have YODA and SPARKLES adopted together*** Yoda is apx 8 -9 years old and 12 pounds, a shitzu/chihuahua mix. She was an owner surrender with her “sister” Sparkles. We are hoping they can be adopted together but we do want what is best for them and to find the girls an amazing home. Yoda gets a dental on the 23rd. She is a tripod. Yoda does have some cataracts starting in her eyes, some cloudiness and her teeth are awful so she will most likely lose quite a few toofers. Yoda is a bit more nervous than her sister Sparkles. She is good with cats and dogs but no small children please. Yoda is more shy and needs some time to warm up. She is not an aggressive dog just a bit scared and nervous. This is A LOT of change for her. Yoda is a sweet gentle older girl and she needs her forever home to be a place to rest her head, feel love and security. He is looking for a semi active Shih Tzu experienced family with a securely fenced yard. He will enjoy having another dog companion in the home or an active family. He will be fine with kind children. He is very affectionate and loves to be held. He likes dogs his size, dog beds, laps, bones (to chew on), couches, walks and toys. He is crate trained but prefers to not be crated, loves car ride and walks. L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 800,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. Story
Holly is a 7 year old, 14 pound Shih tzu puppy mill survivor that likely spent most of her life living in a barn and having puppies.   She came into our rescue early December and is very slow warming up to her foster mom and her surroundings. She is not able to do stairs or walk on leash.  She is still nervous,  but is very slowly making progress.  She will need support with her house training.   She has a very sweet demeanor and would do well with another dog in the home. She came into the rescue with another shih tzu and they seem to lean on each other for support Holly was recently spayed and had 7 teeth removed.  This will not be a problem with her eating but should have a bit of soft food added to her kibble.   Holly will definitely need a secured back yard as she does not walk on a leash just yet.   It may take Holly a while to feel safe and secure.  If you feel that you can provide Holly with kind, loving stable home please fill out an application for our review.  December 13, 2024, 7:46 am

Noelle is a 2 year old Shih tzu puppy mill survivor that likely spent her short life living in a barn and having puppies.   She came into our rescue early December and is very slow warming up to her foster mom and her surroundings.
