This sweet Shih Tzu mix, born around July 16, 2023, has had a rough start in life but is ready to find a loving home. He and his friend Louie were living in a training lot for about eight weeks, essentially on their own and trying to survive in a tough situation, until things took a tragic turn. During their time in the VIA lot, Jetson’s friend Louie was sadly hit by a car, and another dog from their group went missing around the same time. Cold, scared, and desperate for help, Jetson and Louie were eventually rescued thanks to an experience trapper who brought them to our safety. Jetson is a shy but a sweet boy who desperately wants to be loved, though he needs time and patience to warm up. He does well with other dogs and will let you pick him up and hold him, but he’s still learning to trust. Jetson’s ideal home is one where someone understands the importance of giving him space to adjust at his own pace. He’s a gentle boy who just needs the right person to help him come out of his shell.
