Meet Winifred! This sweet but shy gal is an 8.5-year-old, 20lb Shih Tzu who is looking for a forever home where she can relax and come out of her shell! She is a low energy girl, preferring to spend her days relaxing nearby and taking in the world around her. Winifred was rescued from a puppy mill so she is slowly starting to learn that she is safe. She is unsure of people at first but doesn't seem to have a mean bone in her body despite her past. If you hold her and pet her she will slowly wag her tail. She is fostered with other dogs and does well with them. She is happy to rest in her crate and is still working on potty training. Winifred doesn't really know what dog toys and a dog bed are, but she would love to learn! Her favorite thing to do is spend time outside soaking up the sun or to take a nap in the grass. Winifred would love a kind, patient home that will give her a safe place to rest and be loved. If this could be you, then apply for Winifred today! Winifred is fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $300.00. This lovable approximately 6-8 year old 12 lb Shih Tzu mix enjoys cuddling as her favorite pastime. She gets alone well with dogs & cats but humans of all ages are her jam! She lives to please! Suki is kennel trained and mostly potty trained (she can’t resist the occasional pee pad) & ever ready to take a nice stroll on a leash.
