The hardships she endured are evident on her precious face, but Emilia's spirit remains unbroken. She is ready to leave her past behind and spend her best days in a home filled with love and care. Emilia will need some help with leash walking and potty training, but she gets along great with dogs of all sizes. This resilient girl is ready to receive all the love she deserves and give plenty of affection in return. If you're looking for a loyal, gentle companion, Emilia is waiting to meet you! This sweet but shy gal is an 8.5-year-old, 20lb Shih Tzu who is looking for a forever home where she can relax and come out of her shell! She is a low energy girl, preferring to spend her days relaxing nearby and taking in the world around her. Winifred was rescued from a puppy mill so she is slowly starting to learn that she is safe. She is unsure of people at first but doesn't seem to have a mean bone in her body despite her past. If you hold her and pet her she will slowly wag her tail. She is fostered with other dogs and does well with them. She is happy to rest in her crate and is still working on potty training. Winifred doesn't really know what dog toys and a dog bed are, but she would love to learn! Her favorite thing to do is spend time outside soaking up the sun or to take a nap in the grass.
