This charming 12-year-old, 20lb Shih Tzu mix is ready to find his forever home and shower his new family with affection. Don't let his age fool you – Lawrence has a playful spirit! He enjoys gentle romps around the house with his foster sibling and still has plenty of pep in his step for leisurely walks on a leash. He's also a pro at pottying outdoors, making him a wonderful houseguest for his foster. Lawrence is a master cuddler and will happily snuggle up next to you on the couch for some quality downtime. He's a true homebody and while he might let you know he misses you if you leave, he settles down nicely in his bed for a nap, making him a great companion for those who appreciate a calm and relaxed dog. While Lawrence's hearing is a little limited (he responds to louder voices/sounds), this doesn't hinder his ability to connect with people. In fact, his sweet nature shines through in every interaction. He's been friendly with the kids in his foster neighborhood and gets along wonderfully with his foster dog sibling. He even politely acknowledged the resident cats upon arrival and now completely ignores them, suggesting he could potentially live peacefully in a home with feline friends. This adorable boy enjoys a good chew toy and will melt into a puddle of bliss with a gentle belly rub. He's not a fan of his crate or dry kibble, but with a little patience and perhaps some tasty additions to his meals, he's sure to thrive. Lawrence could benefit from losing a little weight (around 4-5 lbs.) to keep him feeling his best, and his future family can work with their vet to ensure he maintains a healthy lifestyle. One of Lawrence's most endearing features is his adorable tongue that adorably peeks out due to his teeth – it's a permanent little quirk that only adds to his considerable charm! Lawrence is more than ready to find his permanent family. If you're looking for a devoted, low-key companion who will fill your days with sweetness and cuddles, Lawrence might just be the perfect match for you! All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the location as it is a privately run boarding, training, and grooming facility. Meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters. Age: 12 years Adoption fee: $200
