Chewie(short for Chewbacca) is an approximately 3 year old Shih Tzu mix. He is up to date on shots and scheduled for his neuter and dental cleaning, which will be covered by the rescue at Auglaize Animal Hospital in Wapakoneta. He wants to be with his person all the time and is good with other dogs. He was a street dog in TX so we are still working on potty training but he is doing very well! He loves to go bye bye and does well on short trips in the car and walks great on a leash.

Gucci is a 1-year-7-month old Shih Tzu mix weighing 10 pounds who came to the shelter as a stray so his history is unknown. Gucci is so Gucci for YOU! He loves being the center of attention, giving and receiving affection is her favorite thing! Tripping hazard, he's under your feet at all times. Needs leash training, will walk around you in circles or right in front of you or he decides he doesn't want to walk anymore! Gucci likes everyone he meets! He would do best in a home where he won't be left alone for extended periods of time, suspected separation anxiety. Gucci has a stubborn side, he'd rather tell you then you tell him! Regular professional grooming required. Housebroken. His adoption fee is $400, this includes his neuter, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. Her dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $21.00. Please visit the shelter to meet him, we show dogs Monday through Friday 1pm-4:30pm and Saturday 1pm-3:30pm. Once you have visited the shelter, you are then eligible to submit an adoption application for review. Please note, we do not offer same day adoptions and there is a $10 non-refundable application fee.Come and meet your new best friend today!
