Your lap, a fluffy blanket, a pillow, a doggie bed if I have to, but I'd rather be closer to you. I also do great with the other pups at my foster home and I mostly just leave the resident kitty alone. I come in at about 9lbs which is also a pawsomely perfect size for, well yes, everything. Neighborhood strolls, mild concrete nature trails, co-piloting errand runs, supervising yard work, you name it I'm the gal for the task at hand!! I was born with my back legs deformed but I can scoot around in the house pretty darn well!! I don't even realize I'm not like the others. I can even go up and down stairs. I just can't jump up on the couch but I will sit there and stare at you until you lift me up! I'm still just one of the sweetest girls you'll have the pleasure to meet. My foster mom got me a wheelchair and I went for my very first walk. I stopped and looked at this and stopped to smell that... with a smile on my face the whole time!! I will need regular grooming to keep me looking this spectacular! A few weekly brushings and maybe a trip to the groomer every so often is a small price for this much gorgeousness in one compact package!! Unfortunately my previous home didn't do that and I had to be shaved the whole way as my coat was super matted. But not to worry, it does grow back!! Hi. I am a 1 year old tiny, brown and white female Shitsu who comes as a bonded pair with my 2 year old morkie brother, Zeke. You see, we were brought up together and depend on each other. I was originally found wandering the streets of San Antonio when I was a young puppy. Zeke came from a breeder. I am good with all people, including children. I get along well with other small dogs. Not sure about cats or large dogs since foster mom doesn't have either. I love to snuggle and sleep in the bed with my brother and foster mom. I am good on a leash and love chew toys and bones. I am pretty calm but can be a bit of a barker. I like going for car rides. I am kennel trained and do best being kenneled with my brother. I am pee pad trained and am working on potty training. I do the best when I am on a consistent schedule. So, if you have a lap big enough for a pair of lap-loving tiny dogs, we are your guys. Have your peeps contact my peeps and we'll get this love fest started. Adoption fee local in Texas is $700 for the both of them, the out of state fee is $1200, this includes the transport fee for both of them as well as the fuel surcharge.

Meet Russell! Russell is an almost 12 year old shihtzu. He is your classic old man, a very lazy guy who can be a bit grumpy, but is harmless (and toothless). Russell has some senior guy medical issues. He does have a heart murmur that requires 3 pills a day, so he’ll need someone that can afford his medications and keep up with the occasional echocardiogram to check on his heart. He is also a very picky eater with a sensitive stomach, not uncommon of a guy his age, and it’s hard to find things he likes to keep weight on him. He is still underweight. Despite his quirks, Russell is a sweet gentleman and foster mom loves him to pieces. To his person, he is as loyal as they come. He will follow you everywhere. He doesn’t love cuddles but he loves to stay close to you. He would prefer a low key, quiet home where he can nap without much interruption. He isn’t a good fit for rowdy dogs or small children. Russell doesn’t need much attention but he prefers to be around his person all the time. His perfect situation would be a very relaxed home where his person can be home with him most of the time.
