Story
Update: Rosie has an adoption pending ;-) We have received an overwhelming response to Rosie's listing and have many applications we are reviewing. At this time, we are not taking new applications - thank you for considering Rosie. Meet Rosie!! Rosie is approximately 8-9 years old, and 10 lbs. Poor Rosie was found with matted hair and very neglected (photo posted). We think she was just used as a breeder;-( Our friends at Polished Paws Salon got her all cleaned up. When her hair grows back, she will look so cute! Rosie was spayed 4/30/25 and she had her teeth cleaned and she is completely vaccinated. Rosie is house-trained and crate-trained. Rosie loves people and will come running with her tail wagging to anyone. She just wants to be with her person whether at home, outside, on a car ride or snuggled on your lap. Rosie is dog friendly and although her foster does not have a cat, we think she would do fine with a cat. We are hoping to find a low-key home for her so she can enjoy her retirement years ;-) Rosie might be hard of hearing, OR maybe she just has selective hearing? ;-) Rosie has some weakness in her back legs, due to some muscle mass loss, but she gets around just fine, and we are hoping it will improve. If you are looking for a fantastic snuggle bug, Rosie might be your gal! Rosie will require grooming every 6-8 weeks. If you are interested in Rosie, please submit an online application so we can learn a little about you to make sure Rosie would be a good match for you and your family. We do not do out of state adoptions, due to our trial adoption process. Adoption fee/donation is $100.00 If you have specific questions, please email the adoption coordinator at info@loveastraydog.com If you can't foster or adopt, please consider donating to help us with medical expenses and ongoing care. You can mail your donation to: Love-A-Stray, P.O. Box 125, Attn: Rosie, Avon Lake, OH 44012 or visit www.loveastraydog.com for credit card/PayPal information, adoption application, available dogs and upcoming events. Thank you!
