Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Gertrude or Gerti for short is an adorable, sassy and sweet senior gal. She was surrendered by her owner after personal medical expenses became too much. Gertrude has a lifetime eye drop and allergy care. She is a dream on a walk, with dogs, with people, you name it she's perfect for it. She adores attention but will make her self known before interacting. She is not the best at first meetings and leans towards a more defensive nature if pushed to interact. She needs regular grooming with her allergies and breed coat. She adores all attention so she loves all the grooming. She was a little wiggly for nails but with the work we have put in she is doing wonderfully for dremeling. Her coat has completely grown back and you wouldn't know all the issues she had previously just looking at her. She is realizing that the medications are not actually hurting her and feeling better so she has been doing well with medications she has understand that only good things are coming from people giving her these weird things. She will have a lifelong eye and skin medication. She has a weekly medicated bath. She will need someone knowledgeable in administering medications for dogs.  You can apply to adopt our dogs at: https://www.pawfectmatch.org/info/adoption   Cute videos of some Gerti antics   https://www.facebook.com/reel/752144840288745   https://www.facebook.com/reel/705576118401783Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 19, 2024, 10:48 am

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application ›   Chloe and Lilly are a heartwarming mother-daughter duo looking for a loving home together. Chloe, at 2 years old, is a playful, affectionate pup who will happily follow you everywhere you go. She’s a big fan of snuggles and is especially good with kids, making her a wonderful little companion. Chloe is partially house-trained, but there’s still some room for learning – she’d thrive with a bit more guidance and patience! Lilly, Chloe’s 8-year-old mom, is equally friendly and very gentle. She’s an easy-going girl who gets along with everyone she meets and loves to stay close by your side. Both dogs aren’t used to harnesses or leashes, so walks aren’t their thing just yet. However, they would likely be ideal for a home with a fenced yard where they can enjoy safe outdoor time without needing to be leashed. These two Shih Tzus are inseparable, so they need a home that’s ready to welcome both of them. If you’re looking for double the love, Chloe and Lilly could be the perfect pair for you! You can apply to adopt our dogs at: https://www.pawfectmatch.org/info/adoptionVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 19, 2024, 10:48 am

Story
Danny is a 7-year-old, 13lb Shih Tzu mix. Danny is the laid-back, sweet pup you never knew you needed. His foster mom describes him as a "nice, wonderful companion." Danny is quiet, doesn't make much noise and will be independent in exploring his surroundings. He's very smart and is picking up on the routine of his foster home very quickly. On top of being intelligent, he's fully vetted, housebroken, crate trained, and is doing well learning to walk on a leash. Danny has a 5/6 heart murmur and dry eyes, so he will need to be on medication and eye drops for the remainder of his life, but that doesn't stop him from being the sweetest boy. Danny would do well in a quiet home where he can spend his time lounging around and loving life. If you think Danny might be the pup of your dreams, please apply online at www.crisisdogsnc.org. Comprehensive details are provided in the dog's description. To ensure a smooth process, please submit a completed application through our website at: http://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/. Please note that questions via email or social media channels may not receive a response without a completed application. As part of our commitment to responsible adoption practices, we require excellent veterinarian references and conduct virtual home visits. Additionally, your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We provide transportation by both land and air whenever feasible. All assessments regarding breed and age are conducted by licensed veterinarians. We look forward to assisting you in finding your perfect canine companion!November 5, 2024, 1:27 pm

Story
Stella is an 8-year-old, 14 lb. Shih Tzu. Stella is so excited to find her perfect home! This little lady checks a lot of boxes - she's potty-trained, has great house manners, and loves being a lap dog who gets all the pets! Stella is doing well in her foster home and absolutely loves being around her foster mom. When she's not getting pets, she loves to play! She likes playing with toys (especially those ones she can shred!) and enjoys the kids in her foster home. Even though she's 8, she doesn't know it and doesn't let age slow her down. Stella has been around cats, but thinks they always want to play "chase", so she would do better in a home without any feline friends. She does love her neighborhood walks and is great on a leash! Stella does love her food and sometimes gets jealous of her foster doggie siblings during mealtime. She's currently on a strict diet because of recurring bladder stones and will need to be on prescription food to prevent any future bladder issues for the rest of her life. Stella also has inverted eyelashes and will need medicated eye drops for life. Don't worry though, it's easy to manage and she is absolutely worth it! She likes playing with the dogs in her foster home, but she can sometimes get a little pushy, so an easy-going playmate is best for her! Stella would love to find a calm home where she can get her wiggles out, but then crash on the couch with her people and do some serious snuggling! If you're ready for the cutest and most loving companion, apply to meet Stella today! Comprehensive details are provided in the dog's description. Story
Daisy Belle is a 6 year old, 12 lb. Shih Tzu. Little Miss Daisy Belle is loves to be spoiled and doted on! She is living her best life in her foster home where she has all the fluffy blankets, toys, and belly rubs a girl could ever want. She even gets home cooked meals by her foster mom like homemade turkey and veggie stew (needless to say, mealtime is her favorite!). Daisy Belle is always a happy-go-lucky girl and full of spunk. She loves playing tug-of-war with her stuffy toys and running around in her fenced backyard. She hopes her forever home has one too! She can't decide if her favorite thing in life is doing zoomies in her yard or being close to her person - can she pick both? She is a bit weary of men but is absolutely a girl's girl and loves the company of her foster mom. Did someone say "Girl's Night In"? Daisy is definitely down for that and will happily keep your lap warm during rom-com binge-a-thons! She also loves playing with children and would do best with school-aged kids who don't pull her fur or poke her too much. Daisy Belle is also 100% potty-trained and is currently learning how to use a doggie door when she needs to go out. She's very smart and will pick it up soon. She is also crate-trained, but is so polite in the house that she doesn't always need to be crated when you go out. Daisy Belle also loves neighborhood walks and does well on a leash. She isn't a huge fan of other dogs and cats and would prefer to have a home all to herself where she can soak in all affection! She hopes her forever family comes for her soon so she can shower them with love and keep this pampered lifestyle going! Comprehensive details are provided in the dog's description.
