Danny is a 7-year-old, 13lb Shih Tzu mix. Danny is the laid-back, sweet pup you never knew you needed. His foster mom describes him as a "nice, wonderful companion." Danny is quiet, doesn't make much noise and will be independent in exploring his surroundings. He's very smart and is picking up on the routine of his foster home very quickly. On top of being intelligent, he's fully vetted, housebroken, crate trained, and is doing well learning to walk on a leash. Danny has a 5/6 heart murmur and dry eyes, so he will need to be on medication and eye drops for the remainder of his life, but that doesn't stop him from being the sweetest boy. Danny would do well in a quiet home where he can spend his time lounging around and loving life. Gizmo is an 8-year-old, 10 lb. Shih Tzu. Gizmo is absolutely adorable! He will draw you in with his beautiful markings and adorable "puppy eyes". Gizmo is a great little guy who loves lounging around with his foster dog siblings and playing with them in the yard. He hopes his new family has a doggie friend too! He is a calm guy and follows the energy of the house and other dogs, so if everyone is ready to go outside, so is Gizmo! When everyone is ready to relax, Gizmo is too! Because he came to us very skinny and hungry, he is always excited for his next meal or treats. Gizmo is a gentleman and can be left alone at home without a crate, he has not had an accident in the house and is fully potty-trained. He does get a little sad when his foster mom leaves the house, but he is all smiles and quietly and patiently waiting for her when she gets home! Who wouldn't want to come home to that sweet face? Gizmo also loves walks and he absolutely loves being around his humans! He would happily cuddle on the couch with you and be your best friend. Lucia is an 8 year old, 11 lb. Shih Tzu Mix. Little Lucia is an absolute doll! She may be small, but her heart is big, and she is oh, so loving! Lucia would be perfect for a calm home with a single person, a couple, or a family with respectful kids (age 10+) who will give her lots of belly scratches and pets. She is very gentle and absolutely loves cuddling and being affectionate. She does enjoy her independence too and will sometimes opt to curl up by herself on a comfy chair or plush bed. She likes to play as well and happily runs around her yard while sticking close to her family. She has been great on walks and good with meeting other dogs and people as she sniffs her way through the neighborhood. She doesn't need a lot of exercise but enjoys a lap around the block! She would love to find a family who is home more often than not, but when she is left alone, she has excellent house manners! Prince is full of energy and has a big personality. He enjoys playing! With adults, kids, or other dogs. He is also very social when you get to know him. He’s very intelligent and understands most cues. He lovesss food. So I wouldn’t keep human food near him unsupervised. He's coming from another country so he has all his documents. I’m just unable to care for him anymore, my schedule changed drastically and I travel frequently. I feel horrible because I’m the house for very long periods of time. So I’m looking for someone to give him extra love time and attention. He’s also been my emotional support animal for the last 2 years. He likes to cuddle and comfort you.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Gertrude or Gerti for short is an adorable, sassy and sweet senior gal. She was surrendered by her owner after personal medical expenses became too much. Gertrude has a lifetime eye drop and allergy care. She is a dream on a walk, with dogs, with people, you name it she's perfect for it. She adores attention but will make her self known before interacting. She is not the best at first meetings and leans towards a more defensive nature if pushed to interact. She needs regular grooming with her allergies and breed coat. She adores all attention so she loves all the grooming. She was a little wiggly for nails but with the work we have put in she is doing wonderfully for dremeling. Her coat has completely grown back and you wouldn't know all the issues she had previously just looking at her. She is realizing that the medications are not actually hurting her and feeling better so she has been doing well with medications she has understand that only good things are coming from people giving her these weird things. She will have a lifelong eye and skin medication. She has a weekly medicated bath.
