Meet Laura..... Sweet Retired Breeding Mom.. Laura was recently retired from a life of breeding for a puppy mill. This poor girl has probably had multiple litters and made lots of money for the mill. Laura is a 4 year old female Shihtzu mix. Considered fully hypoallergenic. Laura is very scared, and trying to adjust to home living. Typical behavior from a breeding mom from these mills. Laura weighs 13 pounds and seems to be in great health. Bloodwork was done at the vets office and everything looks good. We would want to place Laura in a home where the family understands her needs and will have patience with her. She will come out of her shell and will be a fantastic companion for someone. We prefer a home without young kids. Laura is fine with other dogs and cats. She uses a wee wee pad and the outdoors for potty training. Being fostered in Butler NJ *** Spay and Dental appointment is on Jan 16th. We can do a foster to adopt - we would need her back for this appointment. Or Laura can be adopted with zero adoption fee and her spay and dental would be covered by the adopters.
