Sam was rescued from a high intake shelter after his owner surrendered him there because they said they could no longer care for him.It just so happened we were going to the shelter to rescue a different dog and they showed us Sam. He had only been there less than a week and he was beside himself when we were with him pulling us towards every door he saw saying, “get me out of here!” So we did.Sam is in a foster home and has been a complete gentleman. He’s been quiet, easy and maybe just a bit sad. We know he had been loved because he seemed to be missing his person.Sam lives with two dogs without any issues. He enjoys walks and just hanging out. He may have some hearing loss.
