He’s a bit of a character with a cute, funny walk, but it only adds to his charm. He’s crate-trained, getting better on a leash, and loves his toys, bones, and warm blankets to curl up in. Ronnie is looking for someone patient who’s ready to take the time to earn his trust. While he may take a little time to warm up to new people, once he does, he’ll show how much love he has to give. Once he's comfortable, he also loves to be carried . Ronnie is very food-motivated and enjoys training. He’s on his way to becoming a pro at housebreaking. He’s great with cats and likes dogs, too, though he can be a little feisty around bigger dogs. He’d do best in a home with older, considerate children. He's looking for a family who will help him build his confidence. In return, Ronnie will reward you with affection, loyalty, and plenty of adorable quirks. He’s particularly fond of his teenage foster sisters and enjoys cuddling up with them for some quality bonding time. Tobey is very affectionate with his foster mom, though he can be a little stubborn at times and may protest when asked to do something he doesn't want to do. He’s still getting used to his foster dad and can be a bit nervous around him, but with time and patience, he is learning to trust. Tobey has just recently started playing with the other dogs in his foster home and enjoys toys as well—his confidence is growing every day! Tobey's ideal home is one where his family is patient and willing to work with a trainer to help him build trust, particularly with male family members. He will do best with older children. His family must be ready to set boundaries to ensure that all members of the family experience his cuddly, loving side. With the right guidance, Tobey will continue to thrive and become an even more loving and confident companion.
