Story
Bennet is guessed to be a 10yr old Poodle mix. Bennet has been slower to adjust to his new life. Bennet is kennel trained and believed to be house trained. Bennet is good with the other dogs, cats however have piqued his curiosity. Don’t let Bennet’s age fool you. He definitely likes a brief run or play session with the younger dogs followed with a nice nap. Soft squeaky toys are a favorite. Bennet is an older dog and does have a grade 4/6 heart murmur. He is not exhibiting any symptoms. No medication is needed at this time. Our adoption fee is $350 for dogs over 5 months of age and includes all vaccinations, spay/neuter, micro chip implantation and registration/transfer, heartworm test, and any other medical vetting the pet has needed. Puppies up to 6 months of age are $400 and this includes all sets of puppy vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip implantation and registration and more. To adopt, go to www.fosterpetoutreach.org to complete an application. Please note: Foster Pet Outreach tries to limit our adoptions to an area within approximately 60 miles of Peoria, Illinois.

Story
Rocky is 5 years old. We acquired him from family friends who still have his parents. He is a loyal companion. Protective. Alerts us when someone is in the yard, at the door, etc. Craves attention. Needs to be with a family that is home with him often. Loves to play fetch. Loves massages. Loves treats. Loves walks. Loves car rides. His best friend is our cat. He is house trained, he will let us know when he has to go, but when we are gone for an extended period of time, he will potty in the house. We recently started putting him in a kennel when we are going to be gone for more than a couple hours. We are a busy family and feel that Rocky deserves to be with a family that can give him more attention. His biggest downfall is that he is food aggressive. If he finds human food or we drop human food and he gets ahold of it he becomes aggressive if we try to take it away, so we don’t try to anymore.
